A list of puns related to "Wiper Arm"
I took my vehicle in to change the rear windshield wiper arm because I didn't have the right tools for it and they cracked my windshield and are trying to tell me they're not responsible for it. it cost 500 dollars to change the windshield but they never disclosed the risk of it breaking in the first place, they never claimed to not have any responsibility for them breaking anything and they never had me sign anything.
If I wanted to take this to small claims court, would I have a leg to stand on?
Just the wiper arm, I have wiper blades. I just need the left wiper arm.
This is the nut that compresses the rear wiper arm onto the mount. My rear wiper arm broke recently and the replacement didn't come with a nut and I've lost the original.
Does anyone know the size and thread pitch? I'm hoping to replace this quickly at a hardware store in the morning as I'm traveling tomorrow.
Thanks!
Here in Cali, hasnβt rained the majority of the year except nowβ¦ But got the arms and blades just in time, heh, took an hour or so of doing, but I got a sure way of putting them back on now after doing it.
The arms are seemingly the right way, if they were the other the arm would be over on the left side sticking out.
When I turn on the wipers, the arms/blades go down as if it was fixed incorrectly, when I try to move them thereβs no leeway to make a whole swipe motion across the windshield.
Driver side wiper arm stopped working on 2020 1500 after running during remote start with heavy snow On window. The passenger side is fine, what do I have to check to fix the one side.
My new to me 2007 has the typical issue where the rear wiper only makes contact with about half the window. Having read around a bit, it seems lots of people complain about this, and it is an easy fix - if you can get the wiper arm off. I just went out, backed off the nut a few turns, gave the nut/shaft a few sharp, gentle whacks with a hammer, and it popped right off.

I replaced my windshield wiper transmission and everything seems to be working until I have the wiper arms installed. The arms just stay put. I can't even hear the sound of the motor when they are on. Here is a video of the transmission without the arms on.

Does anybody know what the torque spec is on the wiper arm nut? I had to adjust the driver's side arm aft Safelite installed it incorrectly when replacing my windshield. They had it to high so it was over traveling and hitting the A pillar.
Iβve seen lists on various forums that lay out interchangeable parts for XJs (e.g. you can take this axle from this vehicle and make it work, etc.). However, I have not ran across anything that lists wiper arm interchangeability. Does anyone have any insight on this? For example, would the wiper arms from a ZJ or WJ work? Or those from another make/model altogether? I have a RHD XJ and havenβt been able to find any replacement arms anywhere, nor can I find any alternatives. Iβm hesitant to alter my existing stick arms, because theyβre all I have. Lol. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. TIA!!
Does anyone know where I might be able to find wiper arms for a RHD XJ or know arms that would be compatible with it? I have looked everywhere (domestic and international) that I can think of for new and used direct replacements with no luck. Any help would be greatly appreciated. TIA!
I have a Acura TL 2006 if that helps.
Please learn from my recent moment of clumsiness, which ended up costing me a full $1000 insurance deductible (costs will vary, but some windshields are significantly more expensive to replace than others)
