Neoponera villosa
So my neoponera villosa queen is quite the active one. She is an active hunter, very aggressive, and speedy. I have her in a test tube attached to a small outworld. I check on her a few times a week. She has fresh water always available feed her a variety of things crickets, meat, honey, fresh fruit. She had a few eggs but ate them. Temperature is correlated to outside weather, which they are native from. Ive tried putting her in a test tube only but she just bites at the cotton all day. Not sure what to do to help her relax.

What a bam of colour. When you drive near them with your car and open your window, or if you just walk next to them, they have a wonderful fragrance! Try not to fall into the plant as its spines aren't too pleasant to touch, believe me. Calicotome villosa, fabaceae.
