I am looking for a teahouse, in either Richmond or neighboring areas, that isn't just another boba / snowbubble place.
I used to spend a lot of time at the Boulder Teahouse in Colorado. It was quiet, they had nice cushions on the floor, and I could just drink tea and draw. I am hoping to find something like that here.

Who are we? We're a tiny group/server built on a few long-term friends. Our server has somewhat close-knit atmosphere and we aim for slow growth to give people space to get to know each other. We're a "variety server" because we don't want to stick to just one area of interest only - we want to get together people of various backgrounds & hobbies. The original idea was built on the concept of sharing - whether it's some knowledge, know-how, progress, discussions, hobbies, DIY, β¦ or just a normal convo about your day. We encourage people bringing up topics of interests and getting others engaged in it.
What do we offer at this moment? We've got a handful of talkative core members who are always happy to help involving newcomers or join in a conversation. We're mostly a text-based server. The topics and direction of our server depends on its individuals - the server can provide to others only what the people can give to it themselves or ask from it. For example, during last holidays it's become our server's trend to send out postcards from our travels, or to lesser extend, even exchanging crafts. We've definitely got some more ideas in the store, depending on its demand. We've been trying to roll with some browser games here and there. Some of us love to share photos from travels or art of any kind, so fellow creators or appreciators are always welcome. This is what our server structure looks like as of now, but it's often a series of experiments to see what sticks, and maybe even shocks. :D
Whom are we looking for? Besides the requirements being fitting roughly the age bracket of 25-35 and being situated in the Europe, we're looking for people who genuinely enjoy somewhat regularly participating in the server - being a part of the server's life. Some of us have met IRL and therefore we're always happy to run into fellow travelers, but it's by no means a requirement.
-- Any rules? Yes! In sake of everyone's wellbeing, the major rule is as follows: Remain civil towards others in the server - exchange of different opinions is fine, but attacking others is not. Attack the argument, not the person.

I finally used up all the tea Iβd bought in Shanghai and was looking for a small stateside importer so Iβve started ordering from Jesseβs Teahouse. Has anyone else tried his selections? I wanna get an idea of how his offerings compare to others on the market.
Welcome to the scarlet mansion. Well, mary doesn't know what place that is, but it's a fancy red mansion. After some thoughts on if it'd be rude for her to enter it or not, she decided to give it a go as it's a dream anyways. And oh hey, look! A maid.
After 2 beautiful originals, we have our first arrange on this album. It's the arrange of EoSD's stage 3 theme. There're first changes in the entire instrument cast, from the romantique tp. focused synthetic cast to a more "classic"-ish one (although, the rom.tps are still present, just not as much as EoSD) and there're additional nice melodies (mainly piano) added here and there serving as intermissions between the each different parts of the music.
And these additional parts are the specialty of this particular arrange for me. They're those kind of melodies that can just be put on background to be enjoyed upon while doing something else.
But the changed cast do provide another color into this theme as well. Besides the piano, there's a flute accompanying the main melody in a unison from a higher octave. And the violins on the coda, man they are so majestic.

We began our group in 2018 and with our new campaign just around the corner we wanted to bring the experience that we enjoy every week to the table for everyone to enjoy.
