Arthur Gray - Strigiformes

Edited with the help of u/riku_uwu

###ABILITIES

Ability-Normal and enraged form:

Arthur has two forms; the first is his normal form, which is the form he spawns in. The next form is his enraged form, which happens when his seal breaks (aka his cane).

Normal form:

This form allows Arthur to be more composed and strategical in his thinking, therefore his abilities are more debuff and skill based.

His attack speed recovery is also faster then the average hunter by 5%. Also, his attack range when long holding the attack button is increased as well. (Probably a little smaller then Wu Chang's attack range when long holding in white form)

Enraged/unsealed form:

Arthur will either have his cane broken by being stunned (pallets, etc), or he can voluntarily break it when it's off cooldown.

(Also, when the cane is broken by being stunned, there will be a cooldown before it can be broken by stuns again.)

This will allow him to enter his enraged form, which is faster and stronger.

While his movement speed in enraged form is faster, he is much more stronger and loses a lot more control when attacking.

When Arthur attacks in this form, it's always a long hold attack (normal attacks for hunters are just a tap, but when you long press it will give a stronger attack, this is what I mean). His attack recovery is also 5% longer then the average hunter.

Normal Ability-Venomous Feathers:

Arthur will shoot one of his feathers (in a similar fashion/animation to soul weaver but with his left hand) directly in front of him. It will travel a similar distance to a soul weaver web and will not go through obstacles.

If the feather makes contact with a survivor they will receive immediate effects of dizziness and slowness by 5% for 10 seconds (their vision will tilt as if they're going to faint and it will be disorienting). The survivor will also have their controls reversed for 5 seconds.

They will also hallucinate images of Arthur, making them scream in fear, this will show their location to Arthur for 1.5 seconds and will happen 3 times during the duration (10 seconds).

The survivors will then receive after effects. Their decoding/healing/saving speed; will be decreased by 15% for 30 seconds. (It will not stack even if they're hit with a feather again).

Ability cooldown is 15 seconds.

Normal Ability-Silent Strigiformes:

Arthur is able to make himself completely silent (fear radius, etc) for 20 seconds.

This ability will have

Arthur Gray - Strigiformes - Lore

###LORE

From the moment of Arthur's creation, he was outcasted amongst his peers because of his lack of control.

He looked down at his glass, then swirled the dark liquid inside.

Why did he have to be created that way? What was so wrong with him that he was like that?

Arthur felt the ache of his heart grow stronger but decided to quench it with a large sip of wine.

It didn't take long before he noticed a pair of eyes trained on him, he looked behind him to see a human ogling at him. That moment then became de tasteful, so he quickly finished and left.

A pair of footsteps ran after him, he heaved a sigh before turning to face what he assumed was an admirer.

"H-hello..." The young girl stammered. She looked down nervously at the intensity of Arthur's eyes burning into her, almost as if he could see into the very depths of her soul.

"I noticed you are alone... and-"

"Spit it out." He snapped. She gulped, not even having the courage to look him directly in the eyes at that point.

"Would you go out with me?" Arthur couldn't help but to feel his irritation grow at the sight of the human. She was weak, meek, and wasn't exciting in the slightest.

Did she really think he would find interest in her?

"No." He turned around to continue on his way but she grasped onto his arm tightly. He grinded his teeth together as he held back the urge to snap her neck.

A rough shake of his arm sent her sprawling to the ground. She looked up in shock, and backed away by sliding her body back. Arthur followed staring at her with an intensity that truly made her fear for her life.

She stopped once her back hit one of the many boxes littering the alleyway she had backed into.

A smirk spread across her face suddenly, making Arthur hesitate. His eyes widened as his arm flew up instinctively to block an incoming attack. The sound of wood splintering filled his ears and he quickly turned to look at his attacker; a large, sleazy looking man who probably existed for drugs.

That's when he was able to deduct that it had been a trap from the beginning.

Was he being robbed? Or were they hired assassins?

Arthur hissed as pain seared into his leg, he looked down at the woman from before, who had now sunk a small dagger into his leg.

Soon he was brawling against both of them, both were better at fighting then he assumed, and it took quite a lot of strength to keep himself from getting stabbed.

The girl grabbed his arm and pulled it behind his back roughly, he h

Strigiformes in falconry?

I just read in the sidebar that strigiformes are considered raptors for the purpose of falconry. How? At least where I'm from, you're not allowed to hunt game with owls. You can only use falcons, eagles, hawks and buzzards. How do you use owls for hunting? And which owls do you use?
