I like to have browse through the workshop to see what new amazing assetts and mods have been created. Assetts that have are basically vanilla items recoloured in one solid colour or the basic stats increase in my opinion shouldn’t be on clog up searches for the actual stuff that someone spent time on creating. Maps and themes another irritating the lack of information and screen shots annoys me. Looking through themes and most just had one shot with no indication on what textures are used to creat them only way to even see is to download and start a game. Sorry for my rant but it’s just so irritating that the decent and created stuff can sometimes get buried among stuff that anyone can do in game with repaint and a in game mod to change the stats.
Steam need to have a clear out of the workshop especially with the amount of duplicated vanilla police station on the work shop
I recently submitted an application to my strata committee to change the carpet flooring in my apartment to floating floorboards and it was approved.
The contractors came and did the job, then 3 days after, I received an email from the strata manager saying that they received a complain from one of my neighbour saying that the contractors didn't laid down carpet protection and had walked debris through the common carpets. They requested me to ask the contractors to come back and clean the carpet.
The contractors actually vacuum cleaned the carpet from my door to the entrance door after the job was done, I checked and the carpets were clean. I replied the strata manager as so and took a video of the flooring in the common area for him just to let him know that the floor was all clean. He said will check with the strata committee.
The strata manager came back to me the next day saying that yes the contractor vacuumed the carpets, however there was still some white residue that has been left "deep in the carpet" and the carpet now need to be steam cleaned to have it removed.
I asked him to specify which area were the "white residue" left and caused stains that need to be steam cleaned. He came back saying that it was reported being "from your unit through to the entry door"...
The confusing part is nothing is showing in the carpet, I sent the video to the strata manager but somehow the strata manager (maybe also the strata committee) just believed the neighbour's complain that some white residue was left deep in the carpets all over the common area.. I don't mind contacting my contractor and ask them to do the cleaning if they actually caused any issue, but it's not fair to just saying that they have made a mess all over the common area while there's nothing showing..
After looking into previous strata reports, I just found one of my neighbour next door is a member of the strata committee (3 members in total). He came to my door angrily on the day when the job started and complained about the notice. I apologised to him and tried to keep all my doors closed to reduce the noise. It could be him who submitted the complain.
I just moved into this apartment and haven't had much experience dealing with strata issues before. Can anyone please give me some advise about this? Thank you so much!
i can feel myself heading full speed ahead towards a relapse and i don’t know how to stop it. advice? ideas? NA beers aren’t cutting it and i haven’t been able to catch a goddamn break in a while and it’s all just too much. i don’t wanna ruin the progress i’ve made but i can’t feel the way i feel anymore and the only way i know how to stop it is drinking and drugs. for the last 53 and again today, i will not drink with you, but after that i don’t fucking know.

Quería compartir por acá un proyecto con el que estoy hace años, un videojuego indie llamado Clean Slate, que ya está publicada la página de Steam y va a salir en junio.

Clean Slate es una visual novel de suspenso/noir, inspirada en la serie Zero Escape / 999 para el que la conoce, que narra la historia de un detective, Brendan Alaster, que se propone a infiltrar el laboratorio de un científico muy reconocido, pero muy polémico, que resulta también ser su mejor amigo.
El juego tiene puzzles/minijuegos relacionados con ciencia y varios finales dependiendo las decisiones que se tomen a lo largo de la historia.
