A list of puns related to "Spanakopita"
I have been trying to find a good recipe for this for a while. I have gotten close but not quite right. I wondered if any of you had a old family recipe that you'd be willing to share!
Go run with goats, dive for sponges, and fight L. Ron Hubbard. With a nice slice of spanakopita in hand, of course.
Itβs a triangle shaped Greek puff pastry with spinach and cheese inside, I just went to a Greek food festival and they called it something else there, does anyone know what else it might be called?
Like the title says, not addressing this situation was a missed opportunity. This was the one instance in the show that Bojack DIDNβT initiate a sexual relationship with a woman he had an unbalanced dynamic with. Ana initiated it with sexual assault, with Bojack repeatedly saying no. In their relationship, SHE was in a position of power and SHE used sex and his feelings to manipulate him. This is an entirely unique instance in the show. So why not explore it? It felt weird to me that he went to her and apologized when she was the one who screwed him over for once. Obviously Bojack would probably always be in denial that he got taken advantage of and perhaps it would unjustly take the heat off of him, but still, it seemed like an unexplored point.
Do we like her? Do we not?
I want to make spanakopita and was browsing recipes online and found some disagreement on whether or not to use garlic.
This recipe from NYT has garlic in it, but if you scroll down to the comments, there is a woman who writes a scathing response, stating that "no self-respecting Greek would add garlic to spanakopita". Yikes. I think garlic sounds like it would be good in the mixture, but does it overpower or throw off the flavor somehow? Almost every other recipe I find has garlic in it, except for this one, which claims to be authentic.
Any thoughts? Is this personal preference or does garlic really change the dish for better or for worse?
Edit: found the recipe without garlic and added link
Hey everyone sorry if this isn't allowed but I need to find a spanakopita recipe. My bf is Greek and really wants me to make it for him but the recipes I've found are so different and I don't know which one is right or better. He doesn't really speak to his family or I would ask them. Thank you in advance to anyone who can help me!
