A list of puns related to "Seven Wonders Of The Ancient World"
There was an excellent post by u/xTHEHATETANKx earlier in this subreddit about the Eye of Providence and sundial on a bank in Rhodes, wherein he mentioned the Colossus of Rhodes in the comments. That being one of the 7 Wonders of the Ancient World got me wondering if there could possibly be any connection to the other 7 Wonders, seeing as there is indeed a lot of reference to Ancient Greek mythology in this game. I'm sure I'm not the first to think of this, but have we considered there being in-game correlations to the other 6, and then perhaps a connection between all of those locations? For reference, here at the 7 wonders and possible correlations that I can think of. I also think its plausible that the number 7 in general may be important.
1.) The Great Pyramid of Giza, Egypt - The obvious connection would be the rock carving with a pyramid on it, right? Also, the Great Pyramid has a close proximity to The Sphinx, and The Sphinx is depicted on Rock Carving #6 and seemingly shows Francis Sinclair walking through a portal to it? Outside of that, data miners have also found at least one pyramid included in an out of bounds section of the game, though that may just be an unrendered shape or something that just happens to be a pyramid. Lastly, one of the spots you find some dinosaur bones also looks to be something of a natural pyramid, but I'll be the first to say that maybe i'm just getting too in the weeds with that one...
2.) The Statue of Zeus at Olympia, Greece - There are lightning strikes in this game which is, you know, Zeus's thing I guess. That's a bit of a reach, of course, but [lightning plays a role in the Marko Dragic storyline
... keep reading on reddit β‘with real i mean the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World that exist in our World. And not The 9 Wonders mentioned in the books.
Edit: This excludes the Ice Wall from the List. The Real Life equivalent of the Wall of China is a modern Wonder of the World and not Ancient and Hadrians Wall is also not an Ancient wonder of The World
i made a post like this a long time ago but thanks to the new Alt Shift x video i found some more details (i had a nice picture that compared all wonders but it got deleted e.e) and i make it a bit shorter.
I have recently become fascinated by the Seven Wonders of the ancient world, particularly those in Egypt. I would welcome any recommendations of books which are relatively accessible and describe their history and construction. Even something a bit more novelized, which tells their creation as individual stories (if such a thing exists) would be welcome.
nobody take this civ for the scenario, bonus seems trash and it's not too fancy
but the map is perfect for us allowing my fastest and easiest victory on this scenario on deity
took "only" 4 try and 1 S/L
i want to share the save but i don't know how, send message if you want it
Does anyone knows how many wonders Ancient Greece had by the time of Kassandra?
