A list of puns related to "Security Review"
In this article, I do an in-depth review of Polymath and I explain why this project should be part of your investment strategy.
I am/we are long Polymath. I wrote this article myself, and it expresses my own opinions. I am not receiving compensation for it. I have no business relationship with any company whose stock is mentioned in this article.

Polymath Network Review
A polymath is someone with expertise in a vast number of different areas; they are known to draw on their broad knowledge to solve specific problems, a Renaissance woman (or man) have you. The Polymath network is trying to be the one solution for Security Tokens.
Security tokens are digitized versions of financial instruments such as stocks and bonds. Area2invest, a DeFi industry expert, expects the security tokens industry to surpass the cryptocurrency market volume in the next five years.
Proponents say a security token offering (STO) allows companies to remain private longer, expanding the investor base without the public company burdens. The SEC views Initial coin offerings (ICOs) under the same scrutiny as an IPO, but there are a few exceptions. Making sure to fall under the exceptions categories or as an STO is the key that Polymath wishes to fit. Security Tokens offer several benefits…..

Polymath History and Vision
Polymath wishes to unlock the blockchain, tokenize and trade traditional and even new asset classes. Their goal is to make token issuance effortless by lowering the barriers to complete. This adoption hinges on solving the problems associated with public infrastructure. Starting in 2018, Polymath initially wanted to issue security tokens using the Ethereum network. By conducting a roundtable with different market participants, custodians, exchanges, KYC providers, former regulators, and securities attorneys, Polymath realized there was an industry-wide lack of standardization. This lack creates a barrier where ever

Specifically, the analyst was responsible for finding a lending agency to park millions of $ of assets in interest earning accounts. They concluded Gemini and BlockFi had the lowest risk.
A few days ago I received a dropped call from the Apple Card customer support number - it rang, I answered, but 20 seconds into hearing some background noise the call dropped. I opened up the wallet app to send a text message to customer support and was surprised to see that my account was locked and the following message displayed: "Account Locked. There is an issue with your account and access has been blocked. Contact Support for more information."
For the most part I use my Apple Card to get my 3% on Apple purchases and on and off whenever I need to pay with my phone. The physical card lives at home and has never even been swiped at a store.
Concerned that my card was compromised I texted GS Apple Card support and was told that there is some sort of a security review and that someone will get back to me. After waiting a day with no one contacting me I called in (vs. texting) and was told the same thing - there is a security review and someone will call me. What was shocking is that you cannot speak with the security team, nor can they assist with security related matters from INBOUND calls (i.e. you call them). Apple / Goldman has to be the one to call you.
Three days into this saga - mind you my credit is excellent at 800+ and I use other 'regular' bank cards as daily drivers - I texted GS / Apple again and was informed that there is no timeline for the review to be completed, and that someone will contact me once it is finished. I was so concerned about the lack of transparency and communication that I immediately advised the support rep that I want to close my account today. They told me an account cannot be closed until the review is completed.
At this point I was fuming and when the rep via text asked me what else they could do me I threatened legal action for failure to disclose potential security breaches, compromised data or any other underlying reason that could have been the cause for the review and thus may impact my overall financial health. I threatened to do so unless I heard back the same day from someone who could tell me what the hell was going on. After a 5 minute silence the rep offered to transfer me to "another department" who may be able to assist further.
I am still on "chat hold" to be connected to them and have no resolution, but wanted others to be aware and to see if anyone has experienced this?
Greetings,
A couple of weeks ago I took my second SANS training course, which as the title mentions, the SEC530 - Defensible Security Architecture and Engineering. I thought I'd write a course review because I noticed there aren't any reviews for this course except I think for one that I read on Reddit and is a few years old.
My review will be straightforward, and I will not sugarcoat anything or BS anyone here. I hope this will be a reference for anyone who is interested in pursuing this specific course or any SANS courses in general.

Hi guys, I have been working hard studying for my CEH exam bother theory and practical.
I have been doing Developement for years but have just started to dive into security and expand my knowledge there.
I am thinking offering a simple service where I can give your Laravel application a security review and advice you on best practices and and implementation.
What do you think?
I stayed at an AirBnB while on a road trip to move across the county (we did not want to fly during a global pandemic and this place was heavily disinfected in between guests). When my fiancé and I arrived we were surprised to find security cameras in the kitchen and living room. I assumed that having a security camera would be against AirBnB’s policy but apparently they allow security cameras only if they are clearly visible, located in common areas, and disclosed to guests before booking. Upon reviewing the listing, we did see that they had disclosed that there would be security cameras, but the information was buried at the bottom of the page and it wasn’t clear that the cameras were INSIDE the AirBnB. We had a good stay otherwise, but the security cameras made us feel uncomfortable. I’m aware this feeling isn’t totally rational but it did negatively impact our experience. I’m sure the hosts don’t spend all of their time watching the cameras but it did make us feel like we were being watched. This was reflected in our review. We gave them five stars, wrote about all the great things about their place, and in the last sentence said “There were security cameras in the kitchen and living room”. Only one other review out of hundreds mentioned it and I thought prospective guests who would also be made uncomfortable by security cameras should be warned. However, after I posed my review the host contacted me and expressed that she thought I should not have mentioned the cameras in my review.
It was not my intention to hurt her business but my feelings are that if its AirBnB’s policy that the cameras be disclosed then it shouldn’t be an issue for me to mention it in the review. AITA?

>Recent decades have seen an unprecedented rise in cereal production and a consequent drop in world hunger. The intensity of the food deficit has decreased by 50% since 1992 (Fig. 1) bringing the number of undernourished people at 820 million, still a substantial amount. Although impressive, this historic trend might give the false impression that improvement in food security is the current trend. In contrast, recent evidence has shown that the number of undernourished people has risen since 2014—both in absolute and in relative terms. The number of undernourished people in Africa, Western Asia and Oceania is larger now than it was a decade ago [1].

>While necessary increases in food availability seem daunting, they are not unprecedented. Since 1960, the total production quantities of rice and wheat have more than tripled [23]. Fig. 1 shows how the reduction in the food deficit was achieved through the progress in cereal productivity. In general, the annual rate of yield increase—attributed to improved varieties—was reported to be approximately 1% in rice [24], wheat [25], barley [26] and oats [27].

... keep reading on reddit ➡Hi fellow entrepreneurs! I work in the cyber security space for big companies and very often I get friends and colleagues to ask me about different concerns they have about how to protect their data or their clients’ data or how to stay secure while operating their online businesses.
Do you guys think there is a market for individuals to have cyber security consulting? I’m thinking on something very similar to having a lawyer or an accountant, maybe they pay a small fee per month or year and get access to a fixed amount of hours of work.
As I’m a public speaker, I’ve developed the ability to translate technical topics into stories and a more friendly general language that is easier and more engaging to grasp, therefore the idea will be to create a package that starts with a sort of game-like exercise where we review threats, risks, mitigation strategies and potential solutions. Then we can have monthly follow ups and they will have a bag of hours to consult about particular issues or questions, or support in case of an attack.
Let me know what you think about this idea and more importantly…how will you market it?
