Had to save myself from the Pre Agency pun...
The best way to win at life is to assume the sale.
The egomaniac that I am, I already know that the first draft of my book is going to be pure gold. My query is already written. I have a huge fan base waiting for the printed copy.
In fact, my book is so good that I already have a harem of agents who contact me daily wanting the final product.
But it's that second novel, that sophomore work that gives me the chills. A veritable Herculean task. I dread it's onset, when the dream of the first is over and the inkwell of my soul has been drained.
What happens then? Will my harem be filled with nagging hags? Will my fans send me death threats for not revealing the fate of my villain? Will I be shackled to the chains of destiny I forged, slaving away at a sequel that should not have been?
These thoughts keep me up at night. There is no salve for the writer's curse.

tl;dr What happens after an agent gets your first book published? Do you have to keep querying your future books to agents? Do you have an "in" with that agent and therefore more agency (pun intended) to write what you want? Are you meant to write in collaboration with the agent on their ideas for what will sell?
Crypto. It's a funny old game.
In a world of speculation and uncertainty, the only thing we can be certain of is the power of momentum. And this, unfortunately, we have lost over the the past weeks.
So i have a plan, built on experience.
We shouldn't waste millions of dollars on billboard advertising, in Times Square. No one sees it. It's a vanity project. What we need to do is aggressively convert a generation yet to dip their toe into the market, the Boomers. The generation who are aggressively adopting platforms like Facebook, but yet to dip into bitcoin, let alone alt-coins. Their addressable market and net work is massive and the crypto market is gaining a lot of traction in their usual publications (ie New York Times, FT, Economist) but next to none have jumped in or no where to begin. Let alone heard of Safemoon.
So what do we need to do? We need to create a fund that targets them more precisely, rather than wasting it on billboards. We need to crowd fund targeted ads on Facebook and get them to convert. Why am i so confident? I have been doing this for over 12 years, at top ad agencies such as Droga5, Wieden and Kennedy and Saatchis.
Let me know your thoughts. If there is enough interest i can make it happen.
To the moon Boomers!.
UPDATE SATURDAY 8TH MAY: Totally blown away by the response. Thank you for all the upvotes and messages. Amazing stuff!. In response to this and to show i am legit, i attempted to make my first YouTube video and channel to kick things off. I will be covering all things with this project, Safemoon in general and personal finance. Its my first ever video and i am a strategist, not an editor, so be kind :)
My sister and I got on fine growing up. Few issues but they weren't anyone's fault. However, as adults, we've drifted apart, which was recently exacerbated by the arrival of my first child, and the biggest argument we've ever had, which we still haven't fully settled.
Info: I'm in a polyamorous relationship (closed quad). We intentionally conceived a child together. When we told my family about the baby, my sister called us selfish and irresponsible for intentionally creating a baby with 4 parents (myself and my partners). The only concern was that it's a poly relationship. One of my partners also has an older child he has limited custody of, as the child's mother twisted the truth about our relationship in court to reduce his custody, so this was already a sore spot.
She and her husband are adopting, and she needs a reference. I work in a career where if she had my recommendation, it would look very impressive on her application. I doubt this as it doesn't look impressive most other places, but she insists that it'll get the agency to sit up and take notice.
She asked me if I'd be willing to "put our issues aside" and write her a reference. I told her that I could write a reference, but I doubt she'd like it as "I have nothing nice to say" about her right now. She said that felt a little harsh, and I said that was a shame, to which she responded by calling me a cunt, and I said that she's more of a cunt than I am. She said to call her if I decide to get over myself.
AITA?
> Los Angeles Clippers forward Kawhi Leonard is "widely" expected to re-sign with the team in free agency this summer.
>Sam Amick and John Hollinger of The Athletic reported Wednesday that both the Clippers and other teams within the NBA expect Leonard to stay put. The All-Star has a $36 million player option for the 2021-22 season but will likely opt out in favor of signing a long-term contract.
>Paul George signed a four-year, $190 million extension with the Clippers in December.
Opinion: I think we all expected this.
