A list of puns related to "Satinwood"
I hope someone can help because I've been researching a while and the answers seem very mixed.
I'm wanting to repaint all of the old glossowork in the house (window ledges, doors, door frames, skirting boards) with satinwood.
I will be sanding the gloss first, but I'm hoping I will not need to sand excessively if I use an undercoat/primer as well.
At the moment I'm torn between zinsser 123 and zinsser BIN.
I'm using a water based satinwood as the final coat, so I'm not sure if that would affect the undercoat I need to use.
I went for water based paint because of the low odour, and because it supposedly dried much more flexible than oil based paint. We have a lot of humidity in the home and use a dehumidifier, and we also have pets so that made sense to me.
Both the products I've viewed appear to be suitable for the job, but I'm not sure if there is one I should be using over the other. The Q&A on a stockists website for the water based 123 states to use the 123 but also that the BIN would be better, even though people have asked essentially the same question. So I'm really confused.
If anyone could reccomend a good quality satinwood too that would be very helpful. I looked at dulux initially but it doesn't seem that great.
Thank you !
Hi everyone, this might seem like a dumb question, but here goes.
I'm currently upcycling an old chipboard blanket box for my mother that has never seen a spot of paint in it's many years of existence. She has suggested some kind of blue as a finish, but is still unsure as to what kind of blue she wants. My question is, would it be worthwhile to apply a white basecoat to it, specifically a Dulux Satinwood white? I only ask about the Satinwood as I have some spare to hand and would love to keep our costs down and recycle as much stuff as possible. There's no need for it to be a super professional job as it's just for storage, but I'd like to do the best I can with what I have so any tips would be really appreciated!
After spending about a week preparing surfaces, I applied the first coat of Satinwood yesterday.
Returned to it this morning, with a view to rubbing down again in preparation for a second coat and itβs if the paint hasnβt bonded well at all. I can literally run my nail through it and scrap through the finish.
Does anybody know why this why might be? Has anyone experienced any similar issues with Dulex trade satinwood?
Edit: Sold! Thanks!
Takes 18350 sized battery. Comes with aluminum and brass buttons and a silver threaded cone that covers the exposed thread where the atomizer attaches.
The curly asian satinwood really catches the light and reflects it back in an amazing way. The pictures don't really do it justice.
This is the pipe as it is being sold: http://imgur.com/a/MwUFP

It is a v2 and it comes with the vapesafe2 circuitry. I have vaped this with .9-1.0 ohm coils with no problem.
The pipe was $125 new and extra buttons are $20. I'm asking $100/obo shipped to you. I'm not looking for trades (sorry!).
Thanks for looking!
