The reason useless people in society cross the road slow is because they lack any control of their lives so they get a small power trip by controlling traffic by walking slow.
I live in a city so I feel like I have a decent sample size in my life but I could be wrong but I’ve never seen a competent individual drag their feet crossing the street. It’s always the people that look useless that look like they do it to purposely slow traffic. I think it’s because it’s a small power trip they get in their useless day. I also think that’s why uneducated people (both black and white) use the n word unironically because it gives them some power over another by using a historically degrading term. I’m sure there are plenty of more examples of useless people doing things to mess with society so they can get a small feeling of power in their useless lives.
Hackers won’t just take control over one self-driving car to crash it. They will take over thousands and park them on highways to cause massive traffic jams, a literal 'denial of service' attack on roads.
Please don’t hold up traffic to give money to scammers on the sides of the road.
This is especially prevalent in Lakeline/Cedar Park/Anderson Mill area that I’ve seen it, but people will often slam on their brakes with a green light to donate to those people with buckets and some fake tickets.

For me, it’s the Grange Rd/East Ave/Holbrooks Rd clusterfuck.
I’d raze the all the allotments on the corner of Grange Rd and East Ave, extending to around McLean St, and have Holbrooks meet up neatly with East Ave. If I really wanted to fix it, I’d even make Holbrooks Rd/East Ave an underpass where they meet Grange Rd.
