Videos recently recorded in secret by a Tibetan woman in tears that show the Potala Palace and a nearby public area. Tibetans in Tibet aren't allowed freedom of speech and are arrested, imprisoned, have their property confiscated, their families harassed, are beaten, tortured, raped, killed, disappear entirely, and/or all of the above for even being suspected of having political opinions that don't go perfectly in line with the official CCP narrative. So this recording is very important and it is extremely brave of this woman to have sent these videos to the free world from Chinese-occupied Tibet.

Does anyone know of this documentary?
There was a plane that crashed in Tibet and the survivors were taken to the Potala Palace and I think got to meet His Holiness, the Dalai Lama? Perhaps the 13th? I think the movie was filmed around the 1930s? I'm asking for a friend.
I saw a post about Potala Palace, and that itβs now a UNESCO world heritage site, and that it was a museum before that, and the residence of the Dalai Lama before that, but i was wondering who/what owns it? Sure it has to be owned by someone, or a trust? but i couldnβt find any info!
also, it would surely be insured, so who pays for the insurance, and the people who work there?
