I'm closing in on one year since my first share purchase of AMC, and have been buying as often as I can since. This has allowed me to gather a rather significant pile of bananas, and I'm not alone, Apes all over the planet HODL massive troves of naners. MOASS will be a generational transfer of wealth unlike anything seen in modern history.

Reason I ask:
Currently using PT 2018 on a 2012 27" i5 iMac. Still on OS X 10.12. This setup works pretty well for my music needs. Slow at times but I can get stuff done.
Thing is I want to get into video production and this computer can't seem to handle it. That's why I'm looking at one of the new M1 iMacs. Figuring I can pick one up to use for video while using my old iMac for PT, but I don't want to use two separate machines forever.
It is beyond fucked up. Ogre, Braker and onslaught with specials at the same time for 5 minutes straight. What kind of sick fuck programmed this shit?! No wonder game is losing players - the balance is non-existent. Normal is like for babies, normal is like hardcore and actual hardcore is "go fuck yourself". In fact, game is significantly easier with bots. BOTS! Who in the right mind would choose to keep dying with live players when they can do better with bots? smh

- We know that anatomically modern humans were alive at least as far back as 300,000 years ago.
- We know that written records first appear about 5,400 years ago.
- We know that ooparts (“out of place artifacts”), like screws discovered in situations that imply they are hundreds of thousands of years old, or prehistoric busts of Black people in the Americas, exist, although modern science has theories as to how they ended up there.
- We know that 269 years ago a man used some wood, paper, string, some wire, and a key to become the supposedly first one to harness electricity.
- We know that we are capable of starting a colony on Mars now.
- We know that there are some ancient illustrations of what seem to be humans flying in strange aircraft.
- We know that according to our present understanding of biological evolution, beings that supposedly evolved on other planets probably should not resemble us. And yet…
It has been said that anatomically modern humans were people of low intellect until a few thousand years ago, that from 300,000 years ago until then, we were still animals walking about in new fully human bodies.
But, what if from the very moment we had developed modern human brains (I’m about to say something controversial), we became as intelligent as modern humans? Well, suddenly we have some 295,000 years in which thousands of people no less intelligent or comprehending as us were… doing mostly nothing, according to the most commonly held ideas. Just a strange, semi-eternal Stone Age.
You can see now where this idea is headed: what if our Stone Age didn’t actually last 290 thousand years, as current mainstream academia and the Ancient Astronaut Theorists insist?
So here’s an idea I’m throwing out there.
Our first Stone Age lasted only a thousand years or so, and within ten thousand years we were already in space if not already living on Mars. Something happened and (almost) all traces of high technology were removed from the planet. Perhaps it was to destroy the ability of those living on Earth to follow after the ones who had left.
And maybe this even happened more than once.
And now today, our cousins can be found throughout the galaxy, some of whom having long ago genetically re-engineered themselves for various environments. And perhaps on some planets they don’t even remember where they came from.
Just a thought.
I've been seeing a lot of posts on this sub and other mushroom subs along the lines of "what is this mushroom I found? Can I eat it?"
With the benefit of the doubt, I think most of these people are asking for a second opinion. That being said, it's such a bad idea to eat something purely based on the advice of what someone on Reddit said. Pictures can only convey so much. It's nice that sometimes we seem to be able to tell people their IDs are off, and I'm glad we can help people feel more confident in their correct IDs. That being said, it worries me how many people come on here with no mushroom knowledge, looking to eat something they randomly found. I think we need to discourage this more, it's genuinely worrying.
