A list of puns related to "Mct"
Iβm showing up to MCT 5 lbs over max. Am I gonna get dropped or sent somewhere?
Edit: they did not weigh us in, just took our word for it on a paper and stamped it.
Currently on boot leave. Wondering how bad is MCT. The first sergeant that briefed us at PI said we would hate our lives for a month bc its cold and wet wondering how bad it is? Also do we run a pft there? I feel hella out of shape after a few lazy last few weeks at bootcamp.
I make my own CBD oil from isolate and have been using MCT oil but bothers me going down. Anyone tried making their own oil with other oils that work as well?
We literally graduate from MCT this Thursday, we just have gear turn in and one test left to do then we are done. Does anybody have any questions for what MCT was like for me with Golf?
Sure, I could go put chicken nuggets in a box at McDonalds and earn double my salary, but this is so much more entertaining. Now, Iβm a POG myself. So iβm curious if any of you grunts did this while you were at SOI. MCT is full of nicotine deprived boots with a fresh boot bank account. I remember the black market, yes I remember it well. In the shitty SOI West chow hall, which is just about the most depressing place on the planet, and for some reason always smells like a frat house thatβs never been mopped, there would always be shady deals going on in the bathroom. Vapes that only cost $15 could go for $80+ a pop. Since the boots arenβt supposed to have nicotine and are threatened with NJP if they sneak off to the PX, dropping by during chow with a cargo pocket full of goodies seems like a pretty good way to make a quick buck.
Does mct oil work as a biofilm disruptor? I read somewhere that it does but not sure if its true or not
i want to have babies with MCT oil. it's a game changer that's for sure
I'm 33, male, athletic, I no longer drink alcohol and eat a mostly whole foods based diet with no animal proteins apart from fish, eggs and dairy.
My bloodwork has always been solid, even when I was binge drinking 8 IPA's a night and devouring entire domino's pizzas in my mid to late 20s. Maybe it was because I was offsetting it with more cardio than I'm currently doing (been bulking up more than focusing on cutting).
Either way, I got bloodwork done this past weekend and received the results this morning. I was shocked to see my total cholesterol at 210 with LDL (the bad kind) at 139 which is above the ideal range of <100. My hdl (good cholesterol) also dropped from the 70s to 54.
I am Re-evaluating my diet and supplements. I do add MCT oil and almond milk creamer to my coffee. The almond milk creamer is called Nut Pods and contains coconut cream, almonds, and sunflower lecithin. I don't use much but I'm wondering if that along with the MCT oil could be spiking my cholesterol?
As far as diet goes my main dairy and animal protein sources are eggs (I usually eat two whole eggs per day), salmon, Greek yogurt, nuts and beans. I get Chipotle a lot which is the only "fast food" I eat but the only real downside there is the sodium levels. The actual food I get is pretty healthy, but maybe I'll skip the sour cream for a while.
The worst thing I eat is organic maple syrup. I say worst thing because I probably consume a little too much at times - I'll add it to peanut butter sandwiches (Ezekiel bread), smoothies, etc. I'm still mindful of it but it is pretty much pure sugar so maybe I'll cut back.
Not sure if anyone has any input from a supplementation standpoint but I did just order some Alma fruit extract and will start taking sulphoraphane and l arginine regularly again as I believe those can help with cholesterol. I also take high epa fish oil.
All things considered I'm kinda shocked and confused how my ldl could be this high unless it's because i am just not doing enough cardio and have gained too much weight from bulking szn. I went from about 200lbs to 213 over the past few months but it's all muscle, my body fat has pretty much remained the same (probably mid to high teens).
Thanks!
I just moved to California recently and the winter weather was wreaking havoc on my scalp and eyebrows. Found this subreddit and tried out Bulletproof's Brain Octane C8 MCT Oil Packet from Sprouts recently (since I am testing this product, I didn't feel the need to buy the whole bottle) and I am so glad it works! I just dabbed a little on my eyebrows and just a few drops over the front of my scalp and massaged it in after a shower and it works! I also blowdried my hair afterwards but didn't focus on the front of my scalp though since I didn't want to irritate it but I didn't itch at all today and my scalp isn't flaky or red at all.
With sebderm I used to get the occasional pustules/pimples inside my scalp too for some time but this routine has helped me clear out my scalp and keep it less itchy and flaky. I only get the itching and flaking in my scalp, mostly around the front of my scalp and since moving to CA, my eyebrows too. Below is my routine and it may/may not work for you but the scrub and the shampoo/conditioner combos are worth a try if you have brunette hair with blonde/balayage highlights as well. For reference, I have brunette hair with blonde balayage highlights and 2B hair.
Here is my routine:
I try to shower every other day else my scalp gets very dry and the rest of my hair gets oily.
Once or twice a week (depending on how dry and itchy my scalp is), I use Scrub Γnergisant Purifying Scalp Scrub by Kerastase and massage it thoroughly into my scalp and then rinse it off.
Next, I use the Bain Lumière Shampoo by Kerastase since I have brunette hair with blonde highlights after using the scrub. I also use Bain Ultra-Violet Purple Shampoo by Kerastase once a week or bi-weekly to keep my blonde highlights non-brassy and radiant. Why Kerastase? I have used Head and Shoulders, Pantene including their Biotin & Keratin range, Sunsilk, Nizoral and Kevin Murphy before but Kerastase is worth every penny to me because my scalp doesn't get too dry and my hair looks much healthier. Less hairfall too. This is what works for me.
For conditioner, I use Cicaflash Conditioner after shampoo
... keep reading on reddit β‘I leave for mct in a few days. Is there any last minute things I should buy that would help make mct easier especially since itβs going to be pretty cold when I go?
I get it preety bad under my beard and eyebrows, then it progresses around my nose and cheeks. After controling my last flare up with ketoderm 2%, i decided to try the MCT oil. I waa starting a flare again, and I no longer itch or burn and the redness is slowly fading. I believe it's working. I purchased Nature's Way on Amazon. You need to buy mct oil without c12(lauric acid). I let it sit on face all day as it slowly absorbs. I think its because it keeps the area moisturized while starving the fungus.
I got a bottle of Breakwater MCT oil tincture, how do you guys use it? On the label it says to use it as a topical, I put a couple droppers maybe 2.5-3ml on some toast last night and it didnβt taste like anything and although it worked very well it seems to upset my stomach. Anyone experienced this?
Hi all
Iβve seen loads of posts with people using MCT oil. What is it? Do I need to buy it? Will it help with weight loss? Thank you in advance π
Iβm leaving for Mct tomorrow, other than the stuff we were issued at boot camp is there anything else I should bring with me? Extra warming layers? Iβve heard we donβt get a lot of free time there so should I even bother bringing things to kill time? As nerdy as this sounds I started reading books over boot leave so Iβm wondering if I should even bother bringing any with me if we are busy most of the time.
Hi all!
I have suffered with Seb Derm on my scalp for YEARS and have tried every over the counter shampoo, diet changes, dermatologist visits, etcβ¦nothing has worked.
However, I recently read a few posts praising MCT oil and decided to give it a try. My scalp did not respond well to coconut oil, so I was a little nervous but figured I might as well attempt. I mixed in a little tea tree oil in with the MCT oil after I shampooβd my hair and have not had a flare up since! (I use an eye dropper to apply). I started doing this about 2 months ago and have not had any issues or flare ups since! As we all know flare ups can happen at any moment so Iβm not holding my breath but I am enjoying this break.
Hope this might help some of you if you give it a shot! Good luck!
Hello guys!
I've been seeing that everyone talks wonders about MCT oil, but I am struggling to get a good price, it ends up being to pricey and I want to apply it on my scalp (also I have long hair) so it would be a waist.
Do you know any MCT without lauric acid that's under 30 euro per L? (I saw cheap mct but is with c12)
Thanksss :)
Report to MCT on tuesday. Should i wear cammies or alphas? Got many people saying to wear cammies, and many people saying to wear alphas, what should i wear so i donβt get blasted?
I've seen conflicting data on this. Some claim that only alcohol based tinctures work sublingually and that mct cannot be absorbed in the mouth, and that their effects are solely from when they get swallowed afterwards as an edible. Other people claim MCT based tinctures work well but usually don't specify if it's as a sublingual or as an edible. I've noticed that the vast majority of CBD tinctures sold are MCT based so I'm wondering if anyone has solid information about whether it works sublingually?? I'm wondering because CBD taken as an edible seems to result in only around 20% of the CBD getting absorbed, while taken sublingually has much higher absorption (75%+)
Anyone else out there using MCT oil? It seems to have really helped my attention. I take a tbsp every morning in coffee and can think much clearer, but I also gave up sugar, so. Any experience you can share would be great! thnx
Can I fold my blue coat
Checking into SOI east but due to flight issues my flight will be really late. The airport will be at is Wilmington airport, anyone know what taxi to call?
Yea. So I know guys take a burner phone with them to mct and just turn that one in so they have their real phone on them throughout training. What happens if you get caught with a phone on you when youβre not supposed to have it?
My tinctures come out nicely with alcohol, but they burn like a mf. Does anyone have knowledge/experience regarding the strength of MCT tincture relative to Alcohol tincture?
Hi guys, I want to try MCT oil for my scalp sebderm and am having a difficult time finding one, looking on Amazon for ones without Laurie acid as I heard that's bad. Also, I think c8 or c10 is good? Would anyone that uses it mind sending the name or link to any ? Thank you in advance
Have a gram of their THCv/CBDv on the way.
If my goal is to use it as a tincture orally or in capsules, how much oil would I infuse the gram into?
Looking at this an AM focus for me and to have my wife try it for her ADHD.
Thanks for any suggestions!
Hello there i am a returning veteran player and i had a question about this offer. 1) it seems like you can get 3 months for $38.95 on another deal. So this deal i pay an extra $10, just trying to see if its worth it.
3.) it says "train more pilots at the same time" so is this for like alts on the same account? (all my alts are on different accounts, what would be the point of a same account alt?). OR does this give me multiple skill training queues on the same character. As in, i can train two skills at once. I thought it was for this, but reading it closely maybe this is purely about same account alts.
This is pretty confusing as someone who came back after many years. Just wondering if its a good deal. Many previous threads about this call it a scam but i cant see why. I dont plan on ever making a second char on my regular account, does that mean these new MCT section has no benefit to me?
My enlistment situation is a little unique, and I didnβt exactly get an MOS Iβm sure I want.
I was going to use Jojoba or castor, but I read here it wasn't good for SD. Minoxidil gave me some horrible side effects, so I figured I would try something more natural for hair and beard growth.
I saw a post of someone asking which is better. I have been using mct oil and it has done absolutely nothing, I am grateful that it does not irritate my skin more though. Today I just tried Squalane oil and itβs crazy, I applied a tiny amount and the redness has gone down pretty noticeably. It also feels more hydrating rather than mct oil which feels like it just sits on top of my skin. I definitely prefer Squalane as of now, letβs see how it does more long term. Just my thoughts hope this helps<3
