Chief Judge Lisa Davidson adopted recommendations from the Supreme Court of Florida requiring clear masks in county and circuit courtrooms for certain individuals.
Her administrative order covers trials in Seminole and Brevard Counties.
Masks have been mandatory for all in the courthouses since the COVID-19 lockdown. Now attorneys, defendants, witnesses and jurors will be required to wear clear face masks or cloth face masks with clear plastic panels while inside the courtroom for trial. Standard cloth face masks are permitted to be used by any other individual in a courthouse facility.

It's all very well and good for us to sit on this sub and mock the dumb shits who get suckered into believing in pseudolaw, but some of these people are actually a danger to the public, eg. the tool who just crossed state borders and went to Canberra. Sovcits are a threat to public health and safety, especially due to their refusal to believe COVID exists, and I think it's high time the law caught up with the SC/FMOTL movements and outlawed their specific activities. Did you just claim to not be a person? You're practicing pseudolaw, off to jail with you. Did you just file a NOUICR? Here's a notice of rebuttal and a whopping fine. Tried that strawman crap in court? See you at the contempt proceedings.
Enough is enough, in my opinion. If the other Aussies in this sub would like to pitch in, I'd like to get some draft legislation drawn up that we can pitch to our federal MPs, along with the short version of what sovcits are and why laws to combat them are needed.
