January 25, 1990: Avianca Flight 52 crashed into a hill in Cove Neck, New York, killing 73 of the 158 people onboard. The plane ran out of fuel after a failed landing attempt at JFK International Airport. Improper management of the fuel load and poor communication were listed as the main causes.

The last remaining German A7V STURMPANZERWAGEN at Brisbane & the climate controlled bubble it was placed in when at Ipswich for restoration & preservation measures, The vehicle was apparently stuck & abandoned by itβs crew in no mans land & captured by Anzacs under the cover of darkness.
