Ferrero Puns

Noticed a sticker on the box saying not to put it in the household recycling and to use "terracycle". Had to Google that to find my nearest drop off centre. 9 miles away.

Why not just make the box out of plastic that is widely recycled?

Every Xmas season, it becomes an ubiquitous sight in national TV. It's a bit of a meme here, people quote it all the time when they are in a mood for something sweet. They don't even bother touching up the original footage from the 90s, which highly contratsts modern tv productions. Here's the ad in question:

My 24 pack is already empty. I'm disgusted with myself. I can't be the only glutton to over indulge on these little brown balls of joy today.

Liaison Salek Crumbarr stood patiently in the reception area with a small entourage of guards. The lanky salamander like alien ‘dignitary’, dressed in a red tunic made of the smoothest of textiles able to be found within the sector. A luxury offered to all those of his standing, or higher.

He was here this evening waiting for a pair of visitors to the station. They were coming here not for any official visit but to ride out a particularly tumultuous situation they had found themselves in. Apparently a minor political entity not aligned with the council they were apart of had been targeting these Dignitaries due to some works they had been apart of in the past.

Just as he was about to call out for an aid to begin searching the docks for the reason behind the dignitaries tardiness, the doorway slides open.

Two stocky figures stepped into the reception area. A Mr and Mrs Joki. Amarians, anthropoid in form, much like him. Two arms, two legs. Where he had only three broad digits on each appendage, they had six slender ones. Dressed in simple grey robes, they greeted him with a humble bow. He returned the greeting with his own, beginning the interaction.

“Welcome to Haagen station honoured dignitaries. My name is Salek and I will be your liaison to the council while you are staying here with us. Apologies for the delay earlier with the docking procedures. We had a few Ruska dock engineers who were engaged in a slight tussle. Disciplinary measures will be taken accordingly for their misbehaviour-“

“What kind of disciplinary measures might I ask?”

The female, Mrs Joki questions, interrupting Salek.

“Oh nothing you would need to worry about. We tend to be delicate in those matters. Re-education over corporal punishments are our motto here. Negative feedback can only go so far and still retain our workers overall motivation. Anyways, back to the introductory tour. This way, please.”

Salek waved a hand towards the only other door aside from the one they had come in through. Two guards take their positions, leading the way through with him behind them. The dignitaries following behind his tail with the remaining two guards of this squadron taking up the rear.

In the long clean and rather spacious corridor, Saleks appreciation of the complete silence of their current situation was unfortunately interrupted by questions by Ms Joki. Were people no longer taken in awe by the station?

I think most chocolates are ruined by nuts in general. I know some people like nutty chocolate but Ferrero rochers just need to be nutless. It takes away from the yummy soft chocolate inside. I guess the crumbly bits in the outside chocolate are ok, but the nut in the center has got to go. I usually pick it out lol

I got some ferrero rochers for Christmas and I didn’t think to check the ingredients because I assumed it’s just chocolate and nuts. However I was just checking the calories in them and saw that there was wheat flour in the ingredients. I ate three yesterday and it had no effect and now I’m very confused as to why. Does anyone know?
