A list of puns related to "Communication Theory"
NOTE: All Speculation. Marine mammals such as the Bottlenose Dolphins and Orcas (among others), are extraordinarily intelligent with brains much larger than humans. I will focus on Orcas for the sake of this post, since they are widely regarded as the most intelligent marine animal. We know they have extremely complex languages, with geographically distinct dialogues and possibly even different languages altogether. They engage in highly complex hunting methods, often unique to that specific pod. They train their young for years and years, indicating a deep emotional connection and desire to ensure their childβs survival.
All that being said, scientists are now starting to use AI to decode their language. They estimate that within as little as 5-10 years, we may have the ability to communicate with another species.
In my mind, if UAPβs/USOβs have been around for possibly thousands of years under our oceans, wouldnβt it stand to reason that they would be in communication with any intelligent undersea life?
Iβll include a link in the comments to a YouTube video on Orcas that prompted me to make this post.
Natalie UlugΓΌn Β What is communication? According to Buckley ( ) communication is the delivery of information from one person to another whereby the intended meaning is unders.
Here is the description about this course:
------
Explores the nature and function of communication in organizations; emphasis on theoretical concepts, tools, and skills for effective management of communication. My goal is to open your minds to the importance and centrality of the communicative processes within formal and informal organizations. We will explore numerous theories that help to explain the complex interactions that occur at numerous levels within modern organizations. In addition, each student will participate within a semester long βcommunication auditβ of an organization to test the explanatory power of our theories in the working world.
--------
So how this course is related to technical communication? Have you used this organizational skill for your job? Can you elaborate?
I need three credits for rhetoric category under technical communication minor, so I searched rhetoric courses in the weekend, and I found this course that looked different than other courses. I think it's valuable for my organizational skills but I'm not sure.
I'm concerned about the speculation around 7:41. Sure this has lead to us learning about some interesting rules on the books re: liquidation, and we've found an interesting NFT company- that is now claiming that they aim to serve esports.
My point? This is all speculation and what-ifs based off a Twitter timestamp. NOTHING MORE.
But our long titties are completely jacked, and we are using them to probe EVERY rabbit hole without considering that sometimes predators use these burrows to ambush unsuspecting prey.
So if we follow our confirmation bias to a party that is completely unrelated to both GME or Citadel, that thinks they may be able to take advantage of our titties, why would you ever expect them to not release some unofficial, vague bullshit on Twitter that is designed to mislead apes into thinking they are going to merge and become GMEs NFT branch?
If Ryan Cohen has a company in mind let him say it. Clearly and out loud.
The only hype we have to spare is for GME and RC. There is zero room here for hyping ANY other companies without rock solid confirmation that there's something in the works.
Edit:
Questions that should be asked
How long has the GDA capital website been registered? And to whom?
When did the "Ape-friendly" statement about wealth transfer show up on their site?
When did they start pandering to Apes with pictures of the moon?
^ Were these before or after our "apes" found their website?
How long have they been in the business of facilitating Esports?
What do we know about Michael Gord and his connections?
To me without a ROCK-titty-jacking-solid unencrypted official announcement from RC about a real connection, this obvious pandering to Ape interests should be regarded with EXTREME SUSPICION.
In science we create a hypothesis and then we do our DAMNDEST to DISPROVE it. If it still floats after we've tried to poke a bunch of holes in it, only THEN do we start calling it a theory.
So let's use our jacked titties to poke some holes!
I suspect whatever the answers are to these questions, they will deserve their own post- I look forward to seeing what the community can find!
I don't want to point out anyone in particular, and I don't want to leave people with the impression that music theorists on YouTube are useless or not worth watching.
I'm just saying, watch these videos with the mindset that even experienced musicians forget things or make mistakes. A lot of very experienced, talented musicians are not regularly brushing up on their music theory. These videos can often be absolutely fantastic, just bear in mind if something confuses you, ask. This is a great sub for those kinds of questions.
Musicians can sometimes get comfortable with what they know, they develop their own way of explaining things, and that can confuse beginner or intermediate musicians.
I'm not going to go into detail, but some things that made me write this were "swing percentages" (just no. That's from an old synth setting), mixing up "modulation" vs "tonicisation" (modulation or "key changes" is more saying "ta-da! this is the new key," whereas tonicisation is a more fleeting shift of tonal centre), and a total inability to understand that the melody can sometimes be in the bass (a really frustrating video featuring three different, very well-known music theory YouTubers.)
Guys, if it sounds confusing or counter-intuitive, maybe it is just that complicated, but there's also a good chance they're explaining it badly or making a mistake.
Greetings everyone,
The 4 communication styles theory is often quoted on workplace tips / self-dev websites, but I could not find any scientific backing to it.
Here's one link for the list of communication styles.

I would like to know from a scientific point of view how much holds up, or is misinterpretation, or wrong, or partially incorrect.
Thanks.
So Iβve just released this yesterday; Skin Theory is a remotely recorded collaboration that reflects on my experiences with neurodiversity and research into Facilitated Communication.

Hello! I was debating between graduate studies in
(a) electromagnetics (microwave theory, antennas, transceiver design etc. ) and
(b) communication systems and information theory.
I have some idea about what kind of work one can expect after studying electromagnetics and RF, but I am not sure what a job entails post studies in communication systems and information theory. Can anyone guide me about --
For those that don't know, or haven't gotten there yet, or just want nothing to do with the second to last station on the Grand Hellbound Railway, the Discordance is what you get when you look for the lies in a language of only truth. It's Sigils freeze all around them and break the laws of reality
So, Correspondence is written in fire by stars, yes? Then what would write in ice, in chill, in words that break the laws of reality? black holes
It is my theory that the Discordance is the language of stars that have willingly accepted the Liberation of Night, such as the Halved in sunless skies. Such stars become the fallen London equivalent of black holes, screaming their rebellion in ice and chill.
Such Judgements probably don't use their Messengers much, given how hard it is to actually make Discordant Sigils, and those same sigils would likely be painful to carry due to their inherent chill
Now the only question Is if the Correspondence defines the Is, and Parabola is the land of the Is Not, are there Discordant Sigils somewhere in there?
Side note, in IRL physics, the largest and most powerful celestial bodies are black holes, not stars, so if that translated to Fallen London it would mean the most powerful Judgements had already accepted the Liberation, which is quite the worrying thought

need : Speech Science: An Integrated Approach to Theory and Clinical Practice (Pearson Communication Sciences and Disorders) 4th Edition
thank you!!!
There are many resources for communication theories. From my point of view the theory of speaking winners and silent losers is the most interesting, as it points to the striking inequalities and inefficiencies in society. As myself having relation to public administration, the theory of "garbage boxes" is also very interesting, which means the lack of communication and the fatalist way of taking decisions in public administration
The reason I ask is because I dont want to be lead down the path of developing a deep understanding of comms theory and then try and get a job in RF and for them to turn around as say actually we prefer skills in analog design - you can learn the communications stuff as you go.
For example lets say (as a student) I do a project about OFDM, I learn the maths, build up some form of simulation in say GNUradio or MATLAB, and I correctly verify its operation over a range of channel conditions etc. This teaches me a lot about communications but if you then asked me to implement that in hardware then id be stuck figuring out where to start.
To me, it seems as though engineers in industry, and subsequently companies, would be more interested in someone who can physically implement a theory , whereas the example I described is more academically focussed, and something a researcher would view as more commendable. With that said I wonder is it more advantageous to focus more on analogue/digital/RF circuit design techniques than it is developing the fundamentals of wireless transmission - what are your thoughts?
Firstly I must say I thought of it when I was and ever since I accepted it as truth also I never checked what it actually meant. So from observing the words I think its about a man who is in love but he's "too cool" for it so he goes into system failure kinda like rebel rebel but he has a mental breakdown. I would like if people who read the meaning will tell me it I love this song and I love this interpretation of it also I just wanna say don't start thinking this is correct this comes from the same mind who thought good times bad times was about is girl wanting to be a man
The roller coaster continues!
I'm uploading here for thoughts and commentary. I'll do my best to circle back and provide thought when I have an opportunity. Regrettably, I'm heavily tied most of today and tomorrow, so I may not be able to circle back until the weekend.
