Driving to and from Central Valley— would you take Interstate 5 or California State Route 58?
Interstate 5 tends to be the faster route to the Central Valley (except for the High Desert), but California State Route 58 has much less traffic and is scenic for a large portion of the expressway.
I am curious about why you would prefer a route over another, and under certain circumstances.
