Finally got to play a 4 player game of Bosk. It did not disappoint. It helps that I'm a sucker for pretty games.
My only complaint is that they should have swapped the red or orange trees for green. The colors are too close and it is tough to tell them apart at first glance. I'm sure they wanted to keep with the autumn theme.
Anyone else been enjoying this one?
All games are NIS [5] condition unless otherwise stated. Local meetup only near Columbus Circle area. Below are the games I'm interested in for trades, but open to other offers as well. PM me with any questions or offers. Thank you!
For Sale/For Trade
Looking for:
So uh... yeah, I have been very bored lately and I decided the best use of my time was to determine which 29 creature types best align with 29 new cards to finish the [[Murmuring Bosk]] cycle.
[[Murmuring Bosk]] is a Forest that comes into play tapped unless you reveal a treefolk from your hand. Looking up the stats on treefolk, it currently has 78 cards, comprised of W 3.8%, B: 6.4%, G: 79.5% and some other color combinations. I tried to find color combinations mostly for similarly-populated creatures. The only "iconic" creature type is Hydra, and I tried not to use any humanoid races except where it was absolutely necessary.
Key:
! = Needs a legendary creature in these colors
? = Not a great statistical and/or color pair fit
Murmuring Bosk is represented as G/WB in the table below, which means it's a forest (G) that also taps for W or B.
Let me know if you have a better creature type in mind for any color combination. But like I said, in the spirit of the OG, I am shying away from over-represented and humanoid creature types.
Living on a generation ship couldnβt be worse for Amadiya. In the span of one week she chose the losing side of some political subterfuge, angered the space gods of deck B-14, and worst of all: left her date without paying the bill. Now everyone from the cute girl she technically didnβt take to dinner and the reality-bending space squids wants her blood. And on a spaceship hurtling through the infinite for at least six hundred more years Amadiya has nowhere to run.
Thankfully, Amadiya learns that everyone has bigger problems than her. Power outages force Amadiyaβs people to send a team to the ill-fated deck of B-14, where the shipβs reactor slowly decays. If they donβt fix it, then the shipβs life support systems will fail, causing everyone aboard to freeze to death.
Amadiya rejoices as sheβs seemingly forgotten. Until she finds out that her punishment is to journey with the team. They hope to trade her to the aliens of B-14 for safe passage, but the trip there is filled with bandits, lethal radiation, and insane robots.
Amadiya nags, threatens, and begs the group to release her to no avail. She knows the space gods will exact a heavy toll for their anger. So during a bandit attack she escapes, fleeing the bandits, her people, and the wrath of B-14. But she canβt run forever, and she knows it.

I'll consider other offers as long as they include Zuckuss
I've got a Kethis deck that squeezes in tons of Legend Lands to support its strategy.
As a result check lands become less and less viable because we run so many non-basics for that & Hermit Druid, we can't always guarantee they come in untapped
So, I'm looking into different ways to color fix, and [[Murmuring Bosk]] seems quite good.
I'm already running [[Sandsteppe Citadel]], so Murmuring Bosk and it are basically the same thing if you don't run any Treefolk:
TL;DR
What do you think? Fetchable Triland that hurts is as good, better, or worse than your usual Tri-Land?

From majestic Maples to ancestral Oaks, players nurture their trees aiming to thrive over the course of a year in a beautiful National Park.
In the spring, players carefully grow their trees, scoring as hikers enjoy traveling the trails in summer.
When autumn comes, leaves fall in the ever-changing direction of the wind, guided to cover the terrain and other playersβ leaves. Points are awarded in winter for the most coverage of each region in the park.
Gain your ground in the park to be victorious in Bosk!
My friend and I have started to make Timelapse videos of us playing boardgames and sharing them to Instagram and Twitter! We thought they were pretty cool so we figured Reddit may enjoy them as well!

To this day I've only ever seen someone play bosk once in CS. We were playing as the seperatists and we were on the ship phase. There was a guy playing bosk who completely locked down the left hallways.
Since then though, I haven't seen anyone playing bosk in CS, period. I don't really understand why. He got some nerfs, but he is still a great character and can lock down hallways as I mentioned that guy doing before.
His abilities are really good in HVV too, but that's really the only place I ever see anyone play him.
I have him mostly buffing the team. Should it be a wand? Do his spells work with the TEC skill or is it just based on the skill points used?
