By your perception, what are the "Prettiest" Visual Kei songs????

Some VK sounds like super angry Nu-Metal, that's a good bit of why I like bands such as Dir en grey, The Gazette, Mucc etc...

But how about that really pretty sparkly stuff???

Like, VK that just makes you feel at ease, or happy or pleasantly nostalgic????

.....

For me Gackt's "Maria" from the REBIRTH album has those kinds of vibes.

Gackt was actually the first J-Rocker I got into, and I didn't come across Dir en grey until quite a bit later.

DeG is the kinda stuff I listen to when I wanna release some aggression, or drown myself in negative feelings.

Gackt is what I listen to when I want to feel positive or at the least, neutral.

There's plenty of VK singers and groups who have these "sparkly" songs, like the sonic equivalent of drinking a very carbonated soda like a Sprite or something.

It's difficult to pin down or describe. It's just a ~good~ feeling. Wistful & whimsical.

I love Gackt's early albums that had all the classical instruments, like violin and stuff, and the flutes and icey pianos and the soaring guitar notes and grindy electronic sounds, like on the song Kalmia.

I know Luna Sea, L'arc en ciel, and others had similar "sparkly" sounding songs, so let's list them....

Throw some good "sparkly" VK songs my way....

Pleasure, Pain, Visual Perception, Audio Perception Should be part of Physics!

If the thing we most care about -- pleasure, pain, sights, sounds and feelings -- are not part of the theories of physics then how can we claim that physics is the ultimate queen of science that explains everything? The usual explanation is the assumption that libertarian free will (and sometimes even consciousness) is not real which is utterly absurd!

In titleβ€” wondering if anyone else experiences visual snow?

Unclear if it’s related to BP, but I’ve had visual snow ever since my first manic episode. Usually when looking at walls, carpets, or other mono-colored surfaces.

Anyone else?

Lack on non visual perception

I had a lucid dream but I could feel anything. I tried touching the ground and I felt nothing. I was trying to take control of the dream which I shouldn't have been but when I tried spinning around to feel something I lost more of a grip. I did quickly wake up and its possible I was being woken up by siblings so maybe I wasn't in proper REM. I also (possibly due to autism) see things like in a dream when I close my eyes in a dark room but when I try counting my fingers I realise I don't have a body in these "daydreams" so may brain my be wired differently. I have also felt thinks in dreams particularly falling sensations and even air being sucked out of my lungs. Any explations to what happened

If we could process visual data at light speed through a vacuum and truly 'see' in real time, how would our perception of the visual world change ?

This has been bugging me since I woke up this morning. How quickly does a waveform collapse upon observation and would this, at the point of instantaneousness have any effect on what we can see?

Anyone tried Sananga - Amazonic Drops for eyes conditions, visual perception and inner cleaning

Has anyone tried Sananga drops? Look i normally don't believe in those stuff, but they seem to be actual drops from a plant that amazonic people use to treat eye conditions, and as a cleaning of the mind from well, those things you just can't get out.

The only reason i'm bringing this is because my cousin was diagnosed with glaucoma this year and after using the drops, his opth could not believe wtf was going on in terms of healing.

As i said, it's not just for the eye diseases, goes (in theory), beyond that. It's supposed to descalcify the pineal gland which is in charge of producing melatonin.

"The pineal gland is located in the epithalamus, near the center of the brain, between the two hemispheres, tucked in a groove where the two halves of the thalamus join".

I'll probably travel to my cousins which is 1000km aprox, to see my family there for some spiritual healing and might try it.

Cheers.

Persistent increase in perception of visual acuity?

I haven't done LSD in a few years now but I had a run of about 2 years where I tried every psychedelic above hell. I don't know it it's an actual change in my neurons (seretonin is linked to eye sight) or if it's that I've created a very strong association.

The effect that persists is that I'm able to perceive more of a plant. Bark is more textured, I can perceive individual leaves and I get a "fuller" sense when looking at trees. Green and Street light pop more and cars are shinier at night.

Am I alone in this?

Anyone else have odd visual perception issues?

Was diagnosed about 1 year ago with B12 deficiency (280pg/mL). All other tests like MRI, bloodwork and eye exams came back clear.

But even after a year I still have this weird visual perception issue. It's hard to describe but it feels like someone is lightly putting pressure on my head. Along with that things look less "sharp" (and no it's not blurriness). It's almost like things have lost their "luster". It also feels like my brain has a hard time grasping what's in my field of view. I can "see" everything just fine but for some reason my brain isn't processing it the same way (I guess you could say).

Has anyone else had this? I wish I could describe it better. I'm assuming it's neurological due to the deficiency and understand that because it's neurological in nature it could take years to heal. I just need some peace of mind that someone else is or has experienced this.

Thanks!

For some context.

Originally my symptoms were:

  1. Panic attacks/insomnia
  2. Burning feet at night
  3. Dizziness/tiredness/confusion
  4. One instance of double vision that has not returned

After taking 1000mcg of B12 for this year all of the above are basically gone (minute some brain fog/confusion some days). And of course still having the visual perception issue I described.
