I enjoy finding these seeds and sharing, here is the latest for you. A nice mountainous hidden gem near a road. I loaded it both modded/unmodded vanilla and dlc enabled. Hope it helps.

I want to do a playthrough in either of these biomes, however each time I attempt one I always have a huge food crisis early game. For people who play in these biomes frequently, what are you tips for not running out of food so fast early game?
Hello peeps! So today I gonna tell you about my biome remake and overhaul idea for the unpopular legacy biome... the Shrublands!
So if you donβt know what the shrublands was, Iβll explain: The shrublands was a biome that was basically how Taigas look except with oak & birch trees, not really shrubland-like if you ask me. So letβs get into it! (Yes I am using Endergyβs layout because itβs good.)

The Shrublands is a home to a assortment of Foliage (Grass & Ferns) but some new plants and vegetation grow there too.
Juniper Tree : This new tree type is one of the smallest trees in terms of log height in Minecraft although the leaves make up for it. Speaking of the leaves, the junipers leaves are a lush green with little blue tips at the end. The juniper logs bark is a bright pale peach while the inner is a bright light orange. when breaking juniper leaves it will may drop a new food type...
Juniper Berries : donβt fill a lot of you stomach but they do make up for it by giving you a good amount of saturation from its distinctive flavor.
(Coastal) Jugflower : are small shrubs that grow in small coarse dirt patches in the shrublands. They have they have small green tooth shaped leaves that have rose red tips. If you want there beautiful colors in your garden, youβll have to plant them on coarse dirt.
The Shrublands are also home to new mobs and some mob variants! Some Existing mobs that spawn here are (Rabbits).
Bushgrub : Are a new mob that wander around the Shrublands. Bushgrub are small cute bugs that live in leaf blocks, for most of the day they are asleep but if you come to close they will wake up and scurry away to find a new sleeping spot. There are a couple ways to catch them: First is by sneaking, they will not wake up when you are sneaking so you can take out a lead or bottle to catch them. But a much nicer way is by using a honey. Honey is theyβre favorite food so they will of course follow you, feeding it to them will make them start shaking and drop a new item... Amber! (if you have a better idea of what it could drop, tell me). You can feed Bread to two Bushgrub to breed them. Bushgrub will never truly be tamed but you can customize them! If you shear a Bushgrub, theyβll will drop there leaf block they were hiding in and become naked, you then can right click with another leaf and then they will start wearing it.
(Corsac) Fox : Is a varia

Figured I'd make a post sharing this seed. Map only has a single entry point, surrounded on 3/4 sides by mountain, allowing you to build a defensible mountain base without dealing with any overhead mountain/infestations.
I recommend setting the rainfall to -1 and population to max, in order to have close allied settlements. temperature settings can also be tweaked to make this temperate forest or desert, however you lose the 3 geothermals it has on Arid Shrubland.
If you're after a defensible base with a single map entry, I recommend not revealing the fogged areas, as all lead to additional map borders.
This seemed like the kind of mountain base seed a lot of people were after, so enjoy!

The Psyche Shrubland is a biome found in the End. It would be uncommon, about as common as a savannah. The floor of the Psyche Shrubland is made up of Psyche Endstone, with a deep purple grass-like texture on top. Chorus Plants, Endermen, and End Cities do not spawn here.
Spread around the biome are Psystalks, tall, yellow growths that resemble tentacles coming out of the ground. When broken, they drop a Psystalk Block, which can be used like wood, craftable into planks and other variations of blocks. Placing a Chorus Flower on Psyche Endstone will convert it into a Psystalk Flower, which can grow to create a full-grown Psystalk.
Instead of normal Endermen, Psychic Endermen spawn here. They look like regular Endermen but have a purple tint with yellow vines and dark-yellow eyes. They have the same amount of health and deal the same amount of damage as a normal Enderman, but they have 10 armour points. They tend to avoid the player, teleporting away if they get too close. Their teleportation abilities are quite limited, and can only teleport up to 5 blocks in any direction, and takes up to 10 seconds to be able to teleport again. Once provoked, they will behave like normal Enderman until they are down to half health. When this happens, they will start to repel the player with their psychic powers. The easiest way to kill them now is using a ranged weapon, as they cannot see it coming and can not teleport away in time because of their limited teleportation abilities.
Upon death, a Psychic Enderman will drop several Psystalk Flowers and have a chance at dropping a Psychic Pearl. If a Psychic Pearl is thrown at a mob or a player, the target will teleport directly where the thrower is standing. All End mobs and boss mobs would be immune to this. Maybe it could have more uses, but I can't think of any right now.
If I have this raster image, is it safe to assume that the most red areas are forest, the next most red are herbaceous and the rest are shrubland? (generally speaking?)
