A list of puns related to "Pilot (pen company)"
Why are most stationery companies that sell pens, and mechanical pencils seem to be owned by Japanese companies, like Zebra, Pentel, Pilot, and Sakura?
Why do most Japanese owned pen brands like Zebra, Pilot and Pentel have their own separate USA company?

Payment by paypal Goods and Services. Please take note that Iβm located in asia, the shipping would probably take a while. For reference: shipping to US, Europe and Australia takes about 3 weeks (Canada, Denmark approximately 4 weeks) for my recent experience. Please expect further delays for shipping during this period.
These pens were selected to stay in my collection permanently, they are all in perfect working order, and have been babied as my personal pens are always in a sleeve or case if not in my hand. But, I have committed to massive pen purchase, so they have to go! The prices are shipped CONUS, because I prefer to use Priority Shipping so nothing gets lost or damaged easily. If you purchase more than one pen, of course the shipping will be discounted from that.

*Anything brass, I keep it polished and like-new-looking, because the chemical process of patina irritates my skin. So, the brass finish is in pristine condition and ready for you to patina into your own personal pen, if you wish.
Hi, gotta make some sales to fund a seriously cool score that I will be taking photos of soon. :) Let me know if you want more info/photos of anything. Please add $5 for shipping to your order, unlimited number of items will just be $5 for one box. CONUS preferred, Paypal goods/services only. Thanks for looking!
I meant to post this in my [NPD] post earlier but forgot. Itβs all for the best because it deserves its own post anyway. I recently ordered a new pen and a ton of ink samples from The Goulet Pen Company. Iβve had a Pilot Metropolitan for a couple of years, but I just recently got back into using it. After exploring this sub and watching a number of helpful Goulet YouTube videos, I decided to order a TWSBI Eco with sample inks. The order was handled surprisingly expeditiously. It initially was scheduled to arrive on December 27, but happily it arrived today (24th)! There was nothing crazy extraordinary with the entire process, but that seems to be only because The Goulet Pen Company has practically perfected their process. I just wanted to take a moment to highlight my wonderful experience and add to the numerous others extolling their awesomeness!
Happy to provide more information so please send a message if you're interested in any of them! Prices do not including shipping to the CONUS.
Hello everyone!
Thinning out the crowd since I now rarely use these pens.

1) Carolina Pen Company Brooks Custom Pen (Fine) - $175USD $165USD
A custom pen commissioned from the amazing Jonathon Brooks, without the wait! I am not the original owner of this pen, so I wasn't the one to commission it. However, this pen was custom made to the same dimensions as a Nakaya Long. Open up the pen to a surprise pink section! Nib is ridiculously smooth for a Jowo nib.

2) Pelikan M200 Cafe Creme (14K Gold B Architect) - $325USD OBO $300USD OBO
BODY / OPEN / NIB / FINNIAL / WRITING SAMPLE
I hate to see this one go, but it really doesn't get any use compared to my other Pelikans. This is the limited edition Cafe Creme that is now ridiculously hard to find in stock. I purchased this pen with a 14K gold nib upgrade in a B, and sent it to Dan Smith to have it ground into an Architect point. This nib is amazing. I actually have no clue what to price it at with the gold nib, but CFP had it for $359, so I hope $325 is reasonable since I have the added nibmeister work. If not, please give me an offer you think is reasonable, and we can work from there!

3) Pilot Custom 74 (14K Gold M) - SOLD
Clear model. It's not pictured, but it will come with a Con-50 convertor. Nib is a smooth medium! Nothing else much to say about a classic like this one.
~
4) Monteverde Regatta Rose Gold LE (1.1 Stub) - SOLD
This pen haunts me in my sleep. Take it away. The nib writes well and is very smooth for an untipped stub, but this pen is far too heavy for my small hands. There is a scuff mark on the section which I have photographed. It's #46/999 and has a magnetic snapcap.

I'm listing this beautiful Carolina Pen Company Charleston in "Blue Nebula" alumilite with a steel Jowo F nib for $160 $150 shipped CONUS SOLD. To sweeten the deal, I'm throwing in an extra ruthenium-plated steel Jowo M nib unit, a Schmidt-style converter, and 16 Diamine Ancient Copper Cartridges.
This pen just looks outstanding. The material has so much depth - the blue swirls throughout the pen and the contrasting black swirls really give this pen a unique look. I also love the black ebonite section, allowing for a nice, comfortable grip. The pen is in outstanding condition, I can't really see any major flaws or signs of use. I have kept it safely in a pen-wrap since I've got the pen. The fine nib is actually one of the best fine nibs I've used - it's quite smooth for a fine with a moderate 7/10 flow. The ruthenium-plated medium nib I'm including is also nice, although there is some slight feedback when going on right-to-left cross-strokes.
I'm also listing a Pilot Vanishing Point in Matte Black with an 18k Broad nib (in the gold finish) that features an outstanding Pendleton Brown BLS for $120 shipped CONUS. It comes with 3 Namiki ink cartridges and a Con-50 converter.
As with many matte black VPs, the body shows quite a few wear marks although the pen has never been mishandled whatsoever. Functionally, the pen is flawless. Where this pen really shines is that broad BLS nib - it's simply outstanding. Super smooth, while giving some really nice line variation, as you can see in the writing sample. It makes my crappy handwriting look passable, which is really saying something. One of my favorite daily writers ever.
As you can tell, I really love these two pens, but have decided to let them go because they just don't get enough use after I got my grail pen - a Pelikan M805 Stresemann. Feel free to comment/PM me if you're interested or if you have any questions. Thanks for looking, and have a great day!
Heya! I'm just getting into this hobby! I just put in my first orders for pens from Goulet Pen Company. Does anyone know how long their shipping usually takes? They did not provide an expected delivery date when I ordered.
There are so many unique, beautiful pens out there. But how many times have we seen a beautiful $400 pen brandishing a shiny Jowo #6 nib?
Donβt get me wrong, I love the Jowo nibs as much as the next. And perhaps thereβs no use in reinventing the wheel (βif it ainβt broke, donβt fix itβ). But if Iβm spending hundreds of dollars on a beautiful unique pen, I want a beautiful unique nib to come with it!
I love beautiful pens as much as the next. But, at the end of the day, I only get so much satisfaction from looking at my pens (and donβt get me wrong, I could ogle over pens all day long). Ultimately pens are meant to write with, and they are even more beautiful in virtue of their ability to write. So, to me, there is value in a pen that write uniquely and beautifully.
Iβm tired of Jowo nibs. Give us something new! Weβll spend money on it (cβmon pen companies!)
Read this in a Chinese forum. The following is a translation of the original post.
" Don't know which asshole swiched out the ink in all the pens to heat sensitive ones.
Damn, it went a couple months without anyone noticing, all the contracts and signatures and files and notes are written in the ink. We only found out after a co-worker spilled hot water on some paper and the ink instantly disappeared. "
Would like to keep at $1700 or less but 1200 or less would be even better. Would like to save as much of the bonus as possible, but this year has been the worst so I owe myself something. I earned it.
It may come as a surprise to some here that there exists a robust community of fountain pen lovers around the world. Once the curiousness of the first sentence has faded, it should come as less of a surprise to longtime readers of r/HobbyDrama that from time to time, drama does indeed erupt in this otherwise affable, low-key hobby. In this post, weβll be exploring a rather recent incident, which begins in April of this year (2021) and which documents the slapfight between two major fountain pen brands:
Kaweco - Kaweco is a German brand based out of Nuremberg, Germany. The original Kaweco was started in 1883, producing dip and fountain pens. It went bankrupt in 1930. In 1994, a different company acquired the rights to the Kaweco name and resumed production of its fountain pen line. Kaweco is a widely popular choice for a beginnerβs pen, especially with its relatively affordable, colourful pocket pen, the Kaweco Sport. The Sport comes in a motley of plastic (Sport line), fancier acrylic (Art Sport line), and metal (Al Sport line) colourways and sports (ha) its identifiable, 8-faceted cap, a fact which will become very important later.
Moonman - Moonman (ζ«ε - mΓ²jiΓ ng) is a Chinese fountain pen brand and a relative newcomer to the fountain pen scene. Moonmanβs pens are generally also on the more affordable side. Chinese pens have gained popularity (and notoriety) over the last decade, and a common complaint in the communityβ and another important point for this storyβ is that Chinese pens often copy popular, existing designs. Moonmanβs catalogue, however, features both unique pens such as the Moonman M1 andβ¦ pens that look suspiciously like other pens (e.g. the Moonman M800 vs Italian-maker Leonardoβs Momento Zero).
Overall, though, there was little complaint of Moonmanβs pens up to this point. They certainly werenβt considered the greatest offenders of copying designs, and many of their pens were actually quite highly regarded in the community.
This changed in April 2021. In April, Shawn Newton of Newton Pens, a longtime member of the community and custom pen maker, [posted on the forum FountainPenNetwork seeking information on why his eBay listings selling donated Moonman pens for charity were taken down with a trademark infringement notice served by Kaweco through eBay](https://www.fountainpennetwo
... keep reading on reddit β‘Just got my Moonman A1 and was pretty pleasantly surprised to see it came with two empty cartridges and a converter, but best of all - a little stopper that fit atop both the converter and cartridges!
I get the angle of not selling stoppers to get cartridge users to keep buying new packs instead of refilling empty cartridges, but back when I was solely using cartridges and not refilling them, I still wanted little caps/stoppers to put on them so if I wanted to switch ink colours and was halfway through a cartridge, I could save the cartridge for later. Even if it's a negligible amount of money saved, it's more the principal and not feeling wasteful. Also, being able to have multiple refilled cartridges for travelling capped with actual stoppers instead of this subs current best makeshift solutions like hot glue sounds awesome!
The CEO personally received $30million as part of going public, and despite the fact that βit wouldnβt have been possible with the hard work of all of youβ, all we get is a fucking pen.
This company is known in my country as being a pretty crap place to work and they donβt really seem to care about changing that at all.

Hello everyone!
I'm usually lurking but seeing what some of you are doing with their pens I thought to give it a try:
I have a beautiful Cross Botanica Purple Orchid (Cross has many pretty pens I think) but sadly I don't like Cross nibs at all. So I already know that the nib comes with the whole lower part and can't be removed independently. Does anyone of you know what other companies nibs fit in the pen's body? I prefer medium nibs and like the feeling of Pelikan. So a smooth wet and not too hard nib is what I'm looking for. I don't have the funds to go testing what may or may not fit, so I'm thankful for every suggestion or resources you can point me to. I live in Europe if it matters.
Keep on writing!
