A list of puns related to "Micro Machines"
#Welcome to the Micro Monday Challenge!
Hello writers! Welcome to Micro Monday! I am excited to present you all with a chance to sharpen those micro-fic skills. What is micro-fic? Iβm glad you asked! Micro-fiction is generally defined as a complete story (hook, plot, conflict, and some type of resolution) written in 300 words or less. For this exercise, it needs to be at least 100 words (no poetry).
However, less words doesnβt mean less of a story. The key to micro-fic is to make careful word and phrase choices so that you can paint a vivid picture for your reader. Less words means each word does more!
Each week, Iβll give you a single constraint or jumping-off point to get your minds working. It might be an image, song, theme word, sentence, or a simple writing prompt. Youβre free to interpret the prompt how you like as long as you follow the post and subreddit rules. Please read the entire post before submitting. Remember, feedback matters! And donβt forget to upvote your favorites and nominate them via message here on reddit or a DM on discord!
#This weekβs challenge:
Simple Prompt: It was now a world ruled by machines.
Additional Bonus Constraints (worth 5 pts): There is a secret message hidden within the story.
This weekβs challenge is to use this simple writing prompt as inspiration for your story. You may interpret the prompt any way you like, as long as the connection is clear and you follow all sub and post rules. You can use this song for additional inspiration if you need itβit was too fitting not to share. The sentence does not need to appear in your story (but you are more than welcome to, if you like). The bonus constraint can be interpreted any way you like, but it is not required.
#How It Works:
Submit one story between 100-300 words in the comments below, by the following Sunday at midnight, EST. No poetry. One story per author.
Use wordcounter.net to check your word count. The title is not counted in your final word count. Stories under 100 words or over 300 will be disqualified from campfire readings and rankings.
No pre-written content allowed. Submitted stories should be written for this post exclusively.
Come back throughout the week, upvote your favorites and leave them a comment with some actionable feedback. Do not downvote other stories on the thread. Vote manipulation is against Reddit
Looking for a childhood toy. Think it has a white roof, and in the sun the body went from maybe brownish or some other dark colour to purple? I might be off on the details. I think I remember the colour gold too.
Any ideas? Thanks
Hey there.
I'm an economics student. I want to know how can new technologies like AI and Machine learning contribute to the economics literature?
I had these sets i believe in the mid to early 90's and wanted to find them. They were both nearly the same size, about 4" wide and maybe 7-10" long. They folded up to look like the mini-vehicle inside. Once was a jeep with 6 wheels that opened into a jungle setting with a volcano, bridge and spider where as the other was a moon buggy in a space scene. I know they had several more than this, but don't remember them. I figured maybe Mighty Max or Micro Machines, but couldn't find anything.

Hello everyone, i've been searching the internet for couple of days just to find a PC game that i played as a kid. In my memory, i have so little to explain about it but i remember how it looked and small details about it. It has really small cars like hotwheel cars racing in a room on some furniture, tables, kitchen and similar places. The more specific detail i still remember is that there was a race in a barbershop and there were haircutters and if u hit them they throw the car back a little bit. I dont really remember how the cars looked and im not sure which year the game is published. The game is really similar to Toybox turbos and MicroMachines V4 and the maps from these games are almost the same as the one im looking for.
So I was diagnosed with sleep apnea several years ago, I started using those with hoses, it was hard to sleep, so I stopped. Now I hear that there are newer ones. I wonder if Medicare would cover those. My cough at night is getting worse.
I've bought quite a few standard knex bulk lots and they always come with a ton of micro Knex. Thinking of selling them to offset my cost (or to buy more regular knex lol) but am curious if any of you ball machine builders use them for any particular thing.
Series 6 is out, there are some being sold on eBay. Where and what stores to find them in, I have no idea.

Hello everybody,
Does anybody here can tell me if a Proxxon MF70 converted to CNC will be able to mill brass and aluminum with half decent percision and/or finish ? I mean, only small parts (model engine parts, RC parts, small adapters, couplers etc..).
And does anybody knows if upgrading to an ER11 spindle will improve the machine other than adding the ability for bigger end mills (which from what I understand, anything bigger than 3-4mm for this machine without upgrading the motor is not gonna work well)
For the CNC conversion, I thought about using Nema23 steppers (and not Nema17 like some were using on YT conversions I have seen) for the added holding stability. would that be better than Nema17 drives?
For the controller, should I invest in a Gecko controller (which costs more than the base mill..) or for this type of mill just do along with the Arduino-style controllers? what benefits will a Gecko controller give me that the much cheaper boards do not provide? (in terms of milling, precision, electric circuitry protections etc..)
Is there a way to make replace the "cheap" screw bearings with something more smooth/solid without having to slit the entire machine open?
any input will be much appreciated.
thank you :-)
