A list of puns related to "Hippeastrum"
I have a few hippeastrum that I bought in early Spring. So far they are not showing any sign of going dormant and are putting out new growth. Do I keep watering them until they show signs of going dormant or do I start decreasing watering to induce dormancy?
They are H. calyptratum, H. pappilio, H. reticulatum v. striatifolium & a reticulatum hybrid if that matters.

Looking to rebuild my collection, my mother died of covid and I had to move quickly so I lost most of my plants. I loved my hippeastrums and am looking for papilio or reticulatum. I dont have much to trade but i do have some of philodendron selloum, some plumeria, standard hippeastrum, a few coccoloba and birds of paradise. And if anyone has a pregnant onion (seeds or bulblets) please let me know!
Hi folks Inspired by people here (I think) I ordered a hippeastrum and it just arrived marked Handle With Care and with the flower stem snapped off. Do I just look after it and wait for it to recover or is this likely to mean it got too much of a shock?
Edit. This always happens. I check the photo is there, upload and it vanishes. Maybe this time. https://i.imgur.com/afTbcp0.jpg
