A list of puns related to "Estimated time of arrival"
First of all, I donβt see the point of people informing us that they changed one word. Just adjust your spelling and go Karen.
The first dozen times I saw it being used that way, I just thought, βokay, this person is just confusedβ. Then I finally googled and realized wth they meant.
If they really feel the need to inform us that they are adding info, the word edit is only one letter more and doesnβt require all caps.
An approximate ETA for 1.7 support would be nice to know.
Also, if CleverGirl will be included, and how much of an improvement in AI compute can we expect.
What's the ETA of the Alliance War LEAGUE?Just a simple and humble request for an Estimated Time of Arrival!
Shouldn't be that difficult to answer, right?
So the app changed and saw that arrival time is being recorded and does this have any significance in terms of rating? Like if there was a 3 to 4 pm window and the app says arrive by 215pm will this have any impact if i show up like 310pm? Since i saw the items are pretty much multiples of certain products Insee I can do it under like 20 min and customer lives close by
I understand that Google has massive amounts of data available to them to calculate arrival time, but what do they use, exactly? For example, do they estimate as if you are going to drive the speed limit the entire drive or do they use the current data at hand and estimate that you will be driving the average speed of drivers currently on each road you will take? Further more, does it calculate for average slowdowns in certain areas on what time it is estimated that you will arrive in said area? For example, would it estimate for a rush hour scenario that you would hit 6 hours in the future if you were destined to drive through a populated city? If so, would it direct you around before you made it to that city? Sorry if I am not making sense.
Edit: I'm on mobile and sorta high. Sorry for bad grammar and whatnot.
I am asking because i just packed sif Carrasco and i heard he might be getting one
Like worse than usual? To the point that the arrival times are almost meaningless now?
This has been happening the last few weeks. The busses I have to use most frequently are the Chicago 66, Grand 65, and California 52.
I rang the store just after they closed so I know he never collected my food. This is the first poor experience I've had with uber eats really, but its very annoying :( The store is closed now so he cant collect the food anyway, but hes still not moving on the tracking map, his icon just rotates sometimes. I took screenshots every couple of minutes of his icon in the same position so I guess Ill contact chat support with that when its open.
Has anything similar happened to anybody before? Do you think I will get a refund? I'd appreciate any feedback. Thanks! :)
I have always wondered this because I use Google Maps on a daily basis. Unless thereβs a big accident or some unusual event, Iβve found that the ETA is always pretty darn accurate, although sometimes I do see it fluctuate a bit. HOWEVER, since I started driving a larger, less efficient SUV, I began driving close-to or slightly under the speed limit on the highway to save on gas. And I noticed that on long drives, ETA extends slightly as I drive.
Obviously they have to take speed limits/driving speed and traffic into account in order to calculate the ETA. But these are my main questions:
-Do they only calculate based on the set speed limit on the different roads? -If legal speed limits are unknown by the app, do they use road size? -Do they use the average driving speed of all drivers compared to the set legal speed limits? -Do they use your immediate current driving speed compared to the set legal speed limit? -Do these apps learn your driving habits over time, and take that into consideration to use driving speed in the calculation? -How are traffic lights factored into the calculation? Do they add extra time to the ETA depending on the potential stop lights you could encounter on the drive?
Loaded question, I know. But Iβve always been very curious about it. Iβd love to hear from someone that is familiar with the programming of these systems.
But really, how time consuming is it for a pizza place to drop some toppings on a base and chuck it in the oven?
