A list of puns related to "Dropship"
Generally speaking the Hoplite is a better choice for the current game. Itβs built on the Vanguard platform which is a better, more survivable fighter than the Cutlass. The advantages that the Cutlass Steel may have are actually quite situational and not really that good.
How often are you going to have more than six players in a fireteam? If you do, would you like redundancy or to put all your eggs in one fragile basket?
How often are you going to be dropping into a hot zone? If you are expecting resistance at the drop do you expect the Cutlass Steel to actually survive the drop? If you drop into a safe landing zone then the door guns are just decorations.
Donβt buy the Cutlass Steel lmao
The Alliance Crusader can hold 4 crew, but the Federal DROPSHIP cannot!
I'd love to see the ability to use it as the lore and name implies, please vote with your upvotes!
PS: Mods, if my flair is wrong, feel free to fix it
Introducing the Dropship, a durable and versatile flying ship designed entirely by me!
The Dropship is my idea of "what if the Sentinel could fly?" Unlike the Sentinel, though, the Dropship is based only on the style of Warhammer vehicles, and not a one in particular (to avoid copyright possibility).
The in-game stats could go a lot of ways, one way being a 1 million cash vehicle (where it would essentially be a slower drone with more seats) or as a cheaper vehicle, where the stats would have to be specific to not be too overpowered. Though, the Dropship would likely seat six players: a pilot, two side gunners, a rear gunner, and two passengers. It would not be meant as a transport like the Blackhawk, but more as a military vehicle that you would not like to see lurking in the dark skies above you.
I hope everyone enjoys the Dropship and that it gets added to Jailbreak someday!
Cutlass Steels price is inline with every other dropship.
The real question is: WHY ARE DROPSHIPS EXPENSIVE?
Do planetary invasions have a place within an interstellar war? Can armies be expected to seize control of entire worlds? Does orbital bombardment render such operations entirely unnecessary?

What do you think about this idea, youre in orbit and you need to go or send someone to the surface of a planet. Instead of landing your big ship, maybe it would be less costly and dangerous to send a small dropship instead. I think it would give smaller ships an important role. Would be great to hear what everyone thinks.
Iβm playing MekHQ and I have recently had several βdestroy grounded dropshipβ missions in a row which resulted in astronomical payouts. How realistic is that? Are dropships really meant to be included in salvage contracts? Salvage on just one of them is more than my entire contract!
Okay so a curious question, I think I already know the answer to, but why does no one I see use the Orion Dropship? Is it just because of the points cost?
