A list of puns related to "Sealift"
I was wondering if sealife in bray was cruel to animals. I was asked to go but I donβt want to go if it is cruel. They donβt do any live shows I think it is just fish but I was wondering if anyone knew?
Im looking to apply to the βordinary seamanβ position once my MMC goes through and Iβm wondering what to expect.
Once I apply what is the process like? How long is wait period after applying? Once(if) Iβm accepted do I just drive to the nearest dock and go aboard? Itβs an entire level position but are there any tests Iβll be expected to take?
As far as I can tell from their websiteβs description of βordinary seamanβ it seems to be mostly busywork but what sorts of things will I be asked to do?
Also, on their website it says Iβll have 2 months off a year. Does that mean Iβll be at sea for 10 months at a time? How normal is that?
This organisation supplies the US Navy. They hire as merchant marines as I understand it but are considered Navy.
Does anyone know about how this works exactly? Would a person in Military Sealift Command have a z card?
Hi all, Iβve recently changed my workout to a 4 day split doing upper and lower (like nSuns 4 day but not as much volume) However when I squat and deadlift on the same day I end up with horrible sciatica so Iβm wondering if thereβs some smarter people in here than I am regarding this because I want to change my workout as follows:
Monday: bench, squat, rows, curls
Tuesday: overhead press, deadlift, pull ups, plank
Wednesday rest
Repeat on Thursday and Friday.
Is this ok in regards to overtraining/resting?
Dammit it wonβt let me edit the title - I meant deadlift, not sealift although whatever it is it could be a good alternative
Anyone have experience with this program? Thoughts on it? Iβve heard stew smith is another good program as well. Any reviews on the growth achieved during it would be super helpful. Thx

SINGAPORE - Observers in the shipbuilding industry may be wondering why the Angkatan Laut Persekutuan Nusantara - the Federal Nusantara Navy - has recently been placing so many orders for cargo ships. The navy usually builds warships, after all, and unlike many other countries is usually not too involved in civilian make-work programmes.
The answer, as revealed by a recent press release by the Ministry of Defence, is that the Angkatan Laut is building up its capacity for expeditionary operations outside of the Nusantara region. This comes soon after the announcement of Nusantara's first overseas base in the East African Federation's Seychelles island group, and is remarkably close to the upcoming nuclear aircraft carriers which will be delivered to the Angkatan Laut by the beginning of the next decade.
According to Bilahari Kausikan, Chairman of the Security Institute at the National University of Singapore and former Permanent Secretary of Singapore's MFA, the expansion of the [Military Sealift Command (KOLINLAMIL)](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Military_Sealift_Command_(Indonesia)) is a crucial step towards sustaining a Nusantaran presence across the Indian Ocean and beyond.
"Building a base is one thing, sure," he says, "but if you want to show that we're really here to stay in the western Indian Ocean? Then you need logistics, and building up the ability to sustain a brigade or more in a foreign country is the way to go."
Kausikan points at the former United States' own Military Sealift Command as an example, noting that the US had truly global reach thanks to its network of support infrastructure.

As I'm going through the hiring process I then get an email from a recruiter at MSC to work as AB on CIVMAR vessels around the world. Both pay about the same base pay with room for advancement. Honestly MSC is making me think twice about NOAA position as I think MSC would be a pretty exciting job. What do you think I should do?
Do you sign a contract, Iβm in the Navy and I know the military is sneaky with what they make you sign. She says you donβt sign a contract for a certain amount of time and can quit when you want to. Is this true ? I couldnβt find anything about this online
Iβve did some research and yβall go out for 4 months and the 1 month back I believe. Iβve also read this doesnβt necessarily happen as to they really donβt work with you or really approve you for leave. Iβd imagine thereβs some credence to this.
Are they governed by the UCMJ or do they still only follow civilian laws.
She wants to be a cook on board a ship and Iβve told her about CS work life in the Navy isnβt that great. Iβd imagine there very similar, what are you expirences with the chefs and cooks

(RIO DE JANEIRO) An escorted Brazilian Navy flotilla set sail for the port of New Orleans, after the country inked a deal with crisis-ridden Dakota for weapons and ships.
Brazil has agreed to sell tanks, air defense equipment, and ships on short order to Dakota, looking to boost export sales to fund an increasingly heavy R&D budget which Brazil sees as essential to maintaining its national security.
A Type 45 Destroyer and the nuclear submarine S Juscelino Kubitschek will shadow a sea convoy which not only will bring 50 EE-50 Basilisco main battle tanks to the Republic of Dakota but also drop off 3 Dom Pedro Class Corvettes, purchased for an expensive $1.5 billion as they were pulled from active service in short order. They will be manned and operational, transferred in a ceremony upon arrival.
The Brazilian Embassy in the Mid-Atlantic Union, keen to avoid hurting relations, said that it did not believe the weapons sale to change the strategic balance in North America and highlighted the commercial, profit-driven nature of the deal.
"It remains our number one priority and goal that these weapons are not used and conflict does not breakout in the former United States."
