I listened to this brilliant mashup/remix of these songs a few years ago on YouTube but cannot find it for the life of me. IIRC, it was ‘Hard To Beat’’s words over the melody/music or ‘Apologize’. Any help??

Wanted to share this with you :)

There is a song by OneRepublic that I think really touches your heart and gives you shivers, and it is 'Au Revoir'. I mean... I don't know how many people like it but it gives me a really strong emotion, It's so touching. It's a masterpiece by Ryan and the band from my perspective. Other songs come close (like Wild Life at #2 for me, and Ships and Tides from the last album at #3 in the top 3) but... Au Revoir is gold in how it manages to touch you inside. I love all 1R songs and obviously, they couldn't all be like this, but this song is really very unique in the way it sounds. I don't know how many people have the same emotion as I do.

For Examples, One of the songs I think is perfect and one of my favorite songs is "Hearing Voices". The song starts with a nice melody and all the instruments are uniquely played. The song sounded like an goodbye letter as one of the lines said "Write you a letter, but it's better that you hear me" and the others are "I suppose I could sing Write a song to share the meaning Of the love for you I'm feeling People saying what they will I don't care". Also the song details and lyrics are really brilliant as the lyrics explain the relationship clearly with amazing paradox example which is "Catch 22" (Hidden meaning if you know it). Also with this result the show just blend well to the beginning to the end. Also some other "perfect" songs by OneRepublic in my opinion is "All This Time" "Mercy" "Dreaming Out Loud (Song)" "Lullaby" and "Secrets" plus there probably some more.

What's your perfect OneRepublic song in your opinion?

Me and a buddy of mine both enjoy OneRepublic, and decided to do a song draft of the best OneRepublic songs to create an "all time album". Our goal here was to make the best album possible, and we decided that we would let the people of reddit decide which album was better (all of the songs are good, but we need a decision on which is better).

We did a snake style draft, that I picked first, then he got two, I got two, etc. until we hit 15 songs. We then arranged the songs into the order we best thought would work for an album, and they are listed below.

We know that all of these songs are good, but we need a decisive vote. We figured this would be the best place to get opinions from a group of OneRepublic fans. Thanks!

and just a side note, I don't understand why Lose Somebody is on the Human Album

The title says it mostly, I'm looking for more songs that sound/ feel like the one's mentioned, more specifically the guitar, beat, voice/mic and mood if that helps.
