A list of puns related to "Mainstream Top 40"
I have tried so hard to find this song for the past few years. I have provided a recording of myself humming the chorus to the best of my ability. I haven't been able to find anything like it. I don't remember any lyrics other than the word "Yeah", which is featured heavily throughout the song and starts the chorus. Any help would be appreciated!

Edit: The song is a bit synth heavy, especially for pop music of that era. I've considered Ashlee Simpson, but after pouring through her entire music library I can say for a fact it's not her. I think the artist might be a one or two hit wonder.
Basically what it says on the tin. What are your favorite flop and/or NPR/P4K-core bops and bangers that you think would have charted within the top ~40 or so on the main Billboard Hot 100 if released by an artist with more marketing muscle behind them?
Here's some of my choices:
Interested to hear what you guys' picks are!
...I work at [WNUR ("Chicago's Sound Experiment" since '95)] (https://www.wnur.org) as a DJ on the Rock Show. We play a mix of underplayed and experimental artists with the goal of getting things on the air that likely wouldn't be there otherwise.
I'm not of the mind that you should play/listen to something just because it's not famous. That's bullshit. There are, however, a lot of important and good bands that do not get much (read: any) radio play; typically, they do not sound like the stuff you're already hearing on the radio. That would sort of defeat the point, in my opinion.
Here are ten songs (+1) by important, influential and out-there bands. Some innovators and some weirdos. This playlist is by no means supposed to be definitive, nor to represent all of the underrated music out there. It's just some songs I've played in the last few years, some new and some old:

[Dustin Wong & Takako Minekawa - Aether Curtain] (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bQ6vmA0ZTZI&list=PLPX5xXPVO8DoPkTXzXD9jdwvJwZ80n6C0&index=1) Wong used to be in Ponytail, if that means anything to you. His solo stuff is dope but last year he dropped his second colab with Japanese composer Takako Minekawa and it is doper still.
[Dianogah - Strongdar] (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p91zJtblRD8&list=PLPX5xXPVO8DoPkTXzXD9jdwvJwZ80n6C0&index=2) Found Dianogah on an old mixtape put out by the ZUM zine. This track is still my fav. They're sort of quasi-math rock.
[Cats and Cats and Cats - You'll Never Make it Home] (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8WyVeYf8bHE&index=3&list=PLPX5xXPVO8DoPkTXzXD9jdwvJwZ80n6C0) These guys are wacky and a lot of fun. This track is from a split single they did back when I was in high school.
[Pinebender - New Balance] (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GNAwGmfJK34&list=PLPX5xXPVO8DoPkTXzXD9jdwvJwZ80n6C0&index=4) Pinebender came up on the same Chicago scene that produced Joan of Arc and their various emo progeny. They might even share some personnel with them? I forget. Anyway, Steve Albini engineered this back in '02 and it rocks.
[Black Tambourine - For Ex-Lovers Only] (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HMvDwXBMvQc&list=PLPX5xXPVO8DoPkTXzXD9jdwvJwZ80n6C0&index=5) These guys were on Slumberland Records in the early 90s, produced sort of shoe-gazy twee-pop. They were very influential, but unfortunately didn't last
... keep reading on reddit β‘So, we had disco in the 70's, hair metal in the 80's, grunge in the 90's, rap in the 00's, so on and so forth. whats going to be next?
I'm not talking about posting wishful thoughts here. I'm looking honest, unbiased opinions.
I recorded this heavily autotuned demo of myself singing what I hope would be a great demo to share between me and a talented singer.

103 bpm. Key of C#.
And in case anyone is into seeing how songs progress, here's a sketch of the lyrics and melody I recorded last month. https://soundcloud.com/songsbyriley/song-fragment-1
Anyway, if you're interested in lending your vocal, send me a message. I'm looking for a straight up radio voice.
I donβt necessarily consider myself a Republican, but I did in 2016 (though I was too young to vote) and currently support Trump if he goes up against any other candidate than Yang. I donβt like how far into govt control and socialism (which the whole democratic socialism irks me to my core) the left wants to take us but I also am okay with some government intervention which is why I donβt agree with a lot of the rights ideas either. Iβm from Georgia and my friends are either Bernie supporters and I love having debates with them because they always get stuck on healthcare and wealth tax. Then my other friends are hardcore Trump supporters/true republicans and we donβt agree on a lot either.
Yang seems like the absolute perfect candidate for the country and he could bring a really good balance. Why is the left so against him? He is trying to help people way more than a lot of the other candidates. The wealth tax is a broken ideology for us considering we have tax exemptions for charity among other things, and healthcare for all isnβt free no matter how people word it. The UBI is an awesome idea because technology transactions are already taxed in other countries and the market will only grow from here.
I could put so many more things on here about why heβs amazing but you all probably know more than me lol. Anyways, does it have to do with the party system? Just the fact that the left loves being polar opposite from the right and just want to try and brute force someone into office to brag that they were able to do something so crazy? Why is everything changing so drastically on both sides and becoming more and more distant from a balance? Though I think that the left wants to change a lot more things already in place. Also the title questions. Sorry for the mini rant with the question.
TLDR: Why do the left hate Yang so much even though he would most likely win the election? What are his chances of making it from a more informed source since the media hates him? And why does the left currently want to change the country into a new system completely rather than make the current one better with reasonable changes?
Note: Sorry mods if this wasnβt allowed, please donβt ban me for it if you donβt like it. Iβm not a trump troll.
Sorry if this is a low effort post but this is just a random thought i had and i wanted to see what others would say. I feel like Anders would be great in hockey or basketball. Something about the drama and theatrics that develop in an exciting game would be perfect for him to cast i think. Just imagine his awesome casting during a crazy game winning shot.
