A list of puns related to "Written Document"
FADE TO BLACK - allegedly the chorus chord progression, no source for this
TRAPPED UNDER ICE - verse riff, originally written when he was in Exodus. Can be heard on their song "Impaler"
ESCAPE - allegedly the "main riff", someone on this sub claimed that James said this during a So What interview. I can't find the interview but if anyone can link it, that'd be great
CREEPING DEATH - Common knowledge that he wrote the breakdown/bridge phyrgian riff when he was 16, also originally used in an Exodus song. Watch his video in Guitar Center for proof
MASTER OF PUPPETS - commonly known that he wrote the pre chorus riff (as shown in his riff tapes for the album), but he also wrote an early version of the verse riff. He said this in his Gibson Icon video, during the MOP segment
THE THING THAT SHOULD NOT BE - Unknown as far as I can tell. If anyone knows and has a source, leave a comment
WELCOME HOME (SANITARIUM) - Also unknown.
DISPOSABLE HEROES - As shown in his riff tapes, he wrote the recurring tremolo-ish part.
DAMAGE INC. - I've heard that he wrote the bridge riff, but I can't find an actual source for this.
It seems that none of his AJFA riffs are actually known, he's credited on four songs yet we don't actually know what he specifically wrote. If anyone does know and has a source, leave a comment.
ENTER SANDMAN - Everyone knows he wrote the main riff for the song.
THE UNFORGIVEN - Not actually sure what he wrote, but through process of elimination from James riff tapes, he either wrote the verse or the pre chorus.
THROUGH THE NEVER - Wrote the riff that plays at 2:52. Shown in his riff tapes for the album
OF WOLF AND MAN - Wrote the riff that plays at 1:28. Also shown in his riff tapes
He's credited for a bunch of songs on Load and Reload, I am not aware of anything he specifically wrote but the information is probably out there. I think he wrote the clean riff in Hero Of The Day though.
Everyone is credited on all of St. Anger and Death Magnetic so its kind of hard to know what riffs he wrote. He definitely wrote the My Apocalypse riff that shows up at 1:50 though
If anyone has more information regarding his riffs, let me know
Hello I am a Canadian researching my Polish family history. I have been given the date of March 3rd 1898 for a "Francizka Duras" She would be my great grandmother. I would be interested in the names of her parents within the birth record. The link to the 1898 church recordsis below:

Be it resolved that goblins (i.e., members of the species Coloborum coloborum) are hereby permitted to seize, and thereby take possession of, a private automobile under the following circumstances:
A) The goblin(s) party to the action have performed an acapella rendition of βRudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeerβ using only the names of the major and minor characters (e.g., Rudolph, Dasher, Dancer, etc.), no names of other animals or items.
B) A full complement of all six major characters of the story β including Rudolph β has been assembled inside the trunk of said automobile.
C) Said automobile is being used solely by one or more of the goblins as a method of transportation to/from/from a Christmas Party currently taking place in, e.g., the home of the goblinsβ employer.
D) Prior to entering the driverβs seat, a goblin is required to first recite the following incantation: βRudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donner, Blitzen,β and then say the following phrase: βRudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer: I must have you, if you donβt come to the party.β A full ten seconds elapse between reciting the above-mentioned incantation and uttering the above-mentioned phrase. This gives the human driver ample opportunity to think βWhat in the world am I getting myself into?!β
E) The vehicleβs owner, in accordance with the above-mentioned conditions, may not protest.
F) The vehicleβs owner, should he protest, will be forced to listen to the voice of a small, furry man wearing a red-striped nose, holding a set of antlers that look like theyβre made out of old car parts.
G) The vehicleβs owner will find that his mouth is inexplicably and unexpectedly filled with blood. This is an actual blood sample obtained from Rudolph himself, and while this blood test was performed for reasons of scientific study, it was, in actuality, performed to test for the presence of antlers in the human bloodstream. (A positive result.)
H) The vehicleβs owner will find that a small, furry man wearing a red-striped nose and holding a set of antlers that look like theyβre made out of old car parts is sitting on top of his head. This is a magical mannequin from the magic shop, and this is actually Rudolph, the Red-Nosed Reindeer. This mannequin is made of magical cardboard, and you must be able to break into his body without hurting him. (A possible method of entering a body without killing the occupant is included at the end of this document.)

I want to experiment with epistolary writing, which is fiction written as documents. Some of the more common examples are novels written as diary entries, letters, or newspaper articles. But feel free to go farther afield; in the past I've written stories like "a class list and course descriptions for a biopunk college" and "a judicial order from the Fae Court of Appeals".
So in the prompt, include a type of document you want me to try to mimic and one other detail, which can be a genre, a character archetype, an object, an image prompt, or any other detail.
For example, this brand guide would help guide writers create written content like website product descriptions, product manuals, various ads like you would see on FB or Google. All those written materials might be written by different people but this literary brand guide would help the different writers deliver content with a cohesive / consistent sounding voice.
I often talk to people who are actively discussing promotions, raises, EOY bonuses, etc. with their employer and end up frustrated when their expectations aren't met. When said frustrations are voiced internally after not getting the offer they expected, there's nothing 'documented' to hold anyone accountable as these discussions typically take place on calls with no paper trail to cross reference.
Note: Managers will blow smoke, exaggerate what they can/can't offer you financially, and set unrealistic expectations on promotion timelines to get an extra 10% of productivity out of their top performers, while also preventing said top performers from interviewing elsewhere.
For ex: Sarah (Sales Rep) is told by her boss Katy (Sales Manager) over Zoom that she will be promoted to manager by March 2021 without requiring her to relocate, and will include a raise to $80-$90k salary, assuming she hits 100% quota in Q4. Document this over email in a 5-6 bullet point summary, emphasizing the details that are critical to getting the offer you want and the expectation that was set by your employer.
If you don't document this yourself, your employer has all of the leverage they need to say "ah - we said $x salary, not $x salary!" or "we talked about Q3 of next year, not Q1 of next year) or even worse "this offer was contingent on you and your family moving across the country, something must have gotten lost in translation".
It's a self made paper trail to hold your management / HR team accountable in the event of changes that have a material impact on you. It may not work 100% of the time, but it will certainly help avoid any disconnect and eliminate the gray area. This isn't limited to strictly career advances either, I also do this for anything that may warrant HR intervention.
Just an idea I had reading through Matthew a while ago. I havenβt thought about it very deeply and donβt even see it as very plausible, just an interesting idea.
although, it's not a huge mistake, instead of "a" they wrote "e" and my documents translator told me that it's not noticeable as they will be verifying the translated documents mainly.
but i'm stressed about it!
Given its personal, I don't want to post it here, but anyone who could help out, I could DM them. Any help much appreciated!
So I had a pretty bad fever last night. Once my fever broke this morning I went to text someone and saw a strange text message from last night. I'll add a screenshot if I find out how to do that (mobile) but it was a message that I apparently sent at 11:37pm to James117 (that's literally what it was sent to. No phone number just James117. Did not receive a "not a valid address message or anything and it appears to have gone through? Any way the message I must have sent was "James 1 17" googling this obviously comes up with the Bible verse James 1:17
"17Β Every good and perfect gift is from above,(A)Β coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights,(B)Β who does not change(C)Β like shifting shadows."
I don't remember sending any messages last night, nor am I religious, and Christianity would not be my first choice if I was religious. But here's where it gets a little weirder and why I'm making this post.
I had also apparently typed out another message to james117 and never sent it. This one read "Rpcs-dhpl" which when I googled that today only came up with 10 results on Google. The second result is an SEC document from sec.gov
I'll leave the link here but it seems to be written as code and is extremely long. Refers to CF industries holdings and that's about as much as I could gather from it.
Another of the ten results from Google is a .usgs.gov document which also appears to be all code as well as a WIPP.energy.gov document regarding waste streams and nuclear waste.
It's probably nothing but it freaked me out as I don't remember sending any texts last night.

I'm building a bootstraped SaaS product on the side and want to document my journey by writing online. I think the three options are Twitter, a blog, or a newsletter. What would you guys recommend and maybe have experience with?
