A list of puns related to "Tiptop"
I was really excited for Ben and Jerryβs ice cream coming to New Zealand, in all the American movies and TV shows it is hyped up heaps.
But to be honest all itβs done is remind me how good tiptop ice cream is.
Ben and Jerryβs is nowhere close to being as good as tiptop, yet itβs like double the price. As a big ice cream eater, Iβm so grateful that we have world class ice cream thatβs so cheap and just a walk down the road.
I assume yes, but can somebody confirm if these brackets will fit my synthrotek* rails?
UPDATE: They technically work. It's snug, I think the screw holes for attaching the rails are about 1mm wider than is ideal, but it works.
(* I didn't know)
I recently ordered the Happy Ending case from TipTop Audio and didn't realize it came with a European power supply :c
Would it be safe to use a power adapter like this for it? https://www.amazon.com/Adapter-European-Unidapt-American-Universal/dp/B081Y8HNT1/ref=sr_1_3?crid=16M2QP8BA7SY8&dchild=1&keywords=european%2Bto%2Bus%2Bplug%2Badapter&qid=1619037921&s=hi&sprefix=european%2Bto%2B%2Ctools%2C155&sr=1-3&th=1
Nothing I read indicates it wouldn't be okay but I'm being extra cautious right now since I really don't want to mess anything up.
Normally, I wouldn't care all that much, but one of the modules that got installed with the red light version has a Erica Synths VCF 2 with a tube which draws extra power at start. So I initially freaked out when seeing red instead of blue. But it seems to work OK even with the power hungry module, and it isn't getting hot, so I'm guessing the difference is cosmetic?
To be honest, I like the red better. The blue seems almost glaringly bright in comparison.
So, the flying bus cable that comes with it has an attachment that has 32 holes and attaches to the Uzeus. I bought two flying bus cables to use instead so I could use more than five modules, but they only have 16 holes for the attachment to attach to the Uzeus. Is it completely necessary to use the cable that was supplied with the uzeus?
Can I use them without any issues, instead of using the one with 32 holes? Thanks!
I feel like I saw this thing in every other rig a few years back, but I've barely seen it since. Seems useful for easy tuning, some cool modulation capabilities. What's the verdict?
Has anyone had problems with the z5000 multi effects module?
Mine seems to have become stuck in an infinite clipping hell/noise loop and no amount of knob twiddling or power header changes has resolved the issue.
I'd like to be able to power my midi keyboard with the Mantis's power rather than having to plug it in to a separate wall outlet. Would also be nice for a USB lamp. Are these modules at all compatible with non-intellijel cases? If not, does anyone have any alternative solutions?
These are both about 3 years old
I rearranged several modules but I don't believe that I overloaded the current because I essentially switched around modules that were already distributed around these supplies... and I calculated their relative current needs a while back but I should have checked again I know !... band surprisingly this happened to both at the same time...
Seeing the lights and modules all flashing is freaking me out about damage to the modules but it also looks like a periodic Flash so I'm hoping that this manufacturer has included a Power Protection and this is some manner of alerting me rather than the modules being fried (kinda Terrible nightmare right now? )
I tried to search on the internet and didn't find manuals to help I'm hoping someone can tell me what's going on and what I should do! Thanks very much in advance!
Perhaps you've decided to never waste hp on a passive mult ever again and you have a bottomless synth fund that let's you never be caught dead skimping on cables for your modular. But if by chance you're like me and occasionally go crazy and treat your synth to a $6 stackcable cable you should know that Tiptop has a 2-year warranty on all their stackcable cables that they've produced since 2017.
Last week I found myself in a fit of rage as I discovered that my one and only 90cm black stackcable decided to become an attenuator as well, and began significantly reducing any signal that went through it, rendering it useless. 'How long has it been doing this without me noticing?' I embarrassingly wondered. I had only gotten this cable a little more than a year ago and began thinking how dumb I could be to waste a whole $6 on a cable that was just going to crap out on me so soon like that. And after all, 'who returns or gets a refund on a cable?' I thought. But after some quick searching to see if any others have had this shared experience, I found that Tiptop in fact has a very decent warranty policy on their cables, which you can find linked below. I sent an email to Sweetwater telling them about this dead wire that I bought from them and asked how I could go about returning it for a new one. After a few days I saw a missed phone call and voicemail from one of their tech reps who was kind enough to inform me that since it was more than a year after the purchase date, I was pretty much shit out of luck. But after promptly calling them back and citing Tiptop's not 1, but 2!-year policy, I had a replacement cable in the mail and making its way to my door where it just arrived today.
So ends my unfrivolous saga and let it be know that your stackcable is guaranteed to carry its voltage load for a full 2 year period. And a kind thank you to Tiptop, for standing behind even the smallest of items on their product line. I mean, at $6 a pop it probably is the least they could do, but it is appreciated none the less.
