We're agonizing over where to purchase a home. I would really appreciate if anyone with experience with both schools could weigh in.
I've heard nothing but good things about Blue Valley and Olathe, and I don't like the idea of sending my kid to a lesser school, so I'm already leaning one direction - but I haven't really heard anything about Spring Hill.
Once the folks with over 100 colleges they applied to this is what this sub is going to look like.

My college is virtual for Jan but Spring term only starts last week of Jan and there has been nothing announced about that. Still, I know they are discussing this all the time and may well announce something early next month.

Hill Spring International School is proud to host its second Mathematics Olympiad, HSMO this February. This is an initiative taken by the IBDP students to pursue their passion for Mathematics. We would love to invite your school to participate in this Olympiad.
As Sofia Kovalevskaya once said, “It is impossible to be a mathematician without being a poet in soul.” This team competition aims at building and developing problem-solving, lateral thinking and collaboration skills. We request you to encourage your students to challenge their aptitude for logical reasoning by taking part in HSMO.
Team registrations for the JUNIOR category (Grades 9-10) and SENIOR category (Grades 11-12) for the 11th and 12th of February 2022 are now open. Each team consists of 3 members from the same category and school.
Over the two days, participants will engage in a challenging competition, starting with the individual MCQ round on exam.net. Nine qualifying teams will then work together in the following round. Finally, the crème de la crème, the top three teams, will be selected for the finals.

My players need to go into Arcanix in order to find an expert on dragons, but they're not going in long enough for me to invest in buying the Strixhaven book. :P I've declared that it's spring break, and the town below the floating towers is already flooded with inebriated young magewrights, students, and spellslingers trying to cut loose. I'm going to run that the floating towers themselves are even more chaotic than usual, with basically the faculty secluding themselves in their quarters until the students wear themselves out. So I need ideas for random rooms and passages that demonstrate the towers' magical and space-warping properties. So far some ideas I've been thinking about

an enormous hallway that's half-flooded, where people have to cross between a few full scale ships

a library where all the shelves are floating and orbiting, and you have to navigate to the ceiling to pass through without getting bumped and knocked all over the place

a student Lazer tag, where students have set up an obstacle course and tagging each other with prestidigitation color-changing effects, though a couple of fire bolts and acid splashes are being thrown around when tempers start running high

a passage that makes you grow older the deeper in you try to go; if you make it to the other side you revert to your normal age and find a pouch of silver coins in your hand.
