A list of puns related to "Spongy"
I'm a beginner when it comes to lawn care so I'm looking to get some assistance from the community.
My lawn is extremely spongy in places such that it is causing issues with mowing as the lawn mower is starting to sink into the grass.
I live in Brisbane, Australia and I believe the lawn is buffalo grass.
I've taken some pictures and you can see there is a large quantity of roots(?) which is causing the sponginess. I measured about 70cm from the soil to the base of the green.

What are my options to get the lawn down flat and smooth? Is dethatching the correct solution?
I'll admit, I have not stayed on top of the lawn care and haven't been mowing as frequently as I should have. I think this has allowed the grass to slowly grow higher in places.
Thanks for your help.
2008 Ford ranger Double overhead camshaft automatic transmission. Brakes are quite soft and go all the way to the floor and donβt do a very good job at braking I hv to press the pedal like 2-4 times to get a good braking effect. The guy I bought it from said it just needs a brake cylinder kit. Any advice on this and possibly how I can check for myself before taking into the shop.
I have a 2010 Ford Escape XLT 4WD. I am experiencing spongy brakes until the bottom of the brake will start working. When the car is turned off and I pump the brakes it will stiffen up and feel fine. If I hold the brakes down while turned off and turn the car on, the brakes become spongy again while being held down. I have bleed the brakes, and nothing. I am thinking maybe the brake booster? Any help would be appreciated.
I feel like as a mage my damage is a bit low in ng+ to begin with. Crescent weapon not doing much to bosses. Lots of stuff resists magic, so it feels like I have to cheese with firestorm because everything else is lacking.
I'm a very high level 105 so my stats are fairly nice, but definitely a bit of a weird spread. Thinking of putting a lot of points in to dex and making a fatal estoc for certain back stab fests like garl vinland who resists magic as well.
Honestly I'm a bit concerned about going deeper in to ng+. All I've done was phalanx, tower knight and armour spider and I'm def just, not happy with my damage.
I'd use northern regalia, but I don't have the stats, and I had every intention of readjusting my character tendency back to pure white in ng+ and ng++.
Or is it a case of like, cheesing a whole load of black phantoms with soulsucker after like, stacking thief/graverobbers/hidden soul and soul remains
This is ancient earth's most spong
Mine are always dense which makes it difficult to eat. I use ENO to make it rise.
Hi
I have a couple of coffin or box style incense burners for regular incense sticks. The sticks are not suspended as is usual. The sticks lie horizontally at the bottom of the bottom in contact with a black spongy material. The sponge is non-flammable and really cool because, even though the incense is in contact with the sponge, it will keep burning to the end.
What is the black spongy stuff? I've looked all over the internet with different search engines and they refuse to tell me. You don't even need a box for this stuff. Just take the sponge, lay the incense flat, and it will burn all the way to the end.
What is it?!!!

Another sponge taken out of burner -- it is well-worn
Newbie hobby mechanic here.
Backstory for those who are interested (wall of text, skip to end for summary): So last year one of our cars (2002 Volvo V70) got an electrical problem that caused it to not run. Had it towed down to the local mechanic and they thought that the ECU had died and that repairing it would be too expensive. They recommended the junkyard. The car has low mileage and is in pretty good condition otherwise for it's age, so given that i already have some electrical knowledge i decided to have a look at it myself. Had the ECU sent away for diagnostics and found out that the ECU itself was fine, so then i tracked down a faulty connection in the wiring harness and got the car running again with no warning lights on the dash. However it turned out upon closer inspection that the car needed brakes done as well. Money is kinda tight atm, so before dumping money on brakes for a car that may or may not continue to run, we wanted to verify that my electrical repair actually worked. In other words, get the car down to the shop and check for codes.
Now for the actual relevant bits: Seeing as the car has sat for almost a year at this point, the calipers had started to get stuck and the brakes were rubbing on the rotors, so i looked up some guides on how to service your brakes and did so for all 4 wheels. But i found a bleeder screw that was rusted solid on one of the rear calipers, and like the newbie that i am i broke it clean off. And again, like the newbie that i am i tried to drill it out and broke off a drill bit in the hole, so extracting it isn't an option anymore. But i figured 3 out of 4 calipers plus the handbrake was good enough to get it to the shop and back (short trip) so i put it back together and aired out the 3 calipers that i could, and now the brake pedal is spongy and only really starts to bite after i pump the brakes, but then the pressure drops off after you take your foot off the pedal and you have to re-pump the pedal to get it to bite again. Does this sound like it could be caused by the unaired/unairable 4th caliper?
In summary: I've had all 4 calipers off and disassembled/lubed up with silicon based lubricant and then re-installed back onto the car, and there is brake fluid in the reservoir (and i have some experience rebuilding hydraulic cylinders so i don't think i messed up there). 1 rear caliper has a broken off bleeder screw so it can't be aired. I don't think that the reservoir ever ran out of fluid so i don't th

I installed a KE Arms ambi safety per the included instructions. The selector doesnβt βsnapβ into position like on my other AR-15 lowers. Has anyone else experienced this?
I don't want to play on casual because I'll never get a challenge or die, but it feels the best. Not because the game is super easy on casual, but because on other difficulties it takes like 30 seconds to kill a bear for example. This random bear 4 levels below me can face tank 30 seconds of magical spells, dozens of electrical bolts of energy, an erupting explosion of fire and ice blasts to the dome... but this bear just takes it all no problem, knocking over me and my party members while taking a spirit blade to the throat like nothing.
I am looking for a difficulty mod that reduces HP on nightmare and increases damage. I'm looking for a mod that turns undead archers into a force to be reckoned with. If I'm casting a spell on one side of the battlefield and I get an arrow in the eye, I want to feel the panic that comes with that. If my team decides to run head first into a giant and that giants grabs a boulder and slams it on varric, I don't want him to survive with half hp, I want him to be dead in a puddle of flesh and crushed bones.
