I've often noticed a lot of energy drinks specify vitamin B1, B2, B5, B6, B9 and B12 but rarely other vitamins are listed. Is there any property about B Vitamins which makes it taste or energize better?

I have seen people describe their abilities as being able to pick up energies of a person when they are doing a reading. I was wondering what is the difference between reading someone’s energy vs a Barnum statement? If you’re not familiar with a Barnum statement, it’s a description that is used to try to capture most people’s experiences that they connect with. For example, one I saw on social media earlier said something along the lines of “Does anyone else feel like they’re ADHD and a lazy perfectionist who loves their friends but hates people?” What do energies pick up on that is more specific than Barnum effects, and what are the limitations of the energies picked up on? I’m sure it’s different for different readers, so I’m just looking more for a discussion than a concrete answer!

Just for clarification. I'm not enrolled and refamiliarizing myself with the content by going through a textbook called Orbital Mechanics for Engineering students (4th Ed). Anyways the problem is asking to show r <= mu/|epsilon| when epsilon < 0. Using the Vis Viva equation I showed assuming epsilon is negative, r is forced to be less than or equal to mu/|epsilon| otherwise |v| < 0 which is impossible. I checked the answer on Chegg (because I don't have a professor to get the answers from after i try and solve myself) and they started off from Vis Viva and getting r=2mu/v^2 but then just throw in |epsilon| =0.5mv^2 and divide by m to get specific energy but still called it |epsilon| I'm confused on how, based on Vis Viva, epsilon is total mechanical energy, and they just used the magnitude of epsilon being 0.5mv^2 which is total kinetic energy. Did they just assume r was going out to infinity? It feels weird to just throw that in there without a justification on why that's allowed. Personally, i liked my own reasoning through it, but the Chegg answer has me thinking I'm missing something on a more fundamental way.

What are some successes or failures in trying to selectively get a transmon qubit in a circuit into a specific energy level? Any lessons learned along the way? Or potential practical solutions to achieve this?

Hello chemistry people,

I want to do an internship at a research group of a foreign university and I'm trying to find a way of finding universities based on their fields of research. I'm having some trouble with that and randomly clicking through research groups has shown to be pretty ineffective (yeah big surprise I know...). If anyone knows how to tackle that problem I'd be super grateful.

Just for the sake of completeness here's what I'm searching for (I don't expect anyone to do the research for me, but maybe someone knows something by chance):

It has to be in the inorganic chem area and I'd like it to be in the realm of light-matter interaction. I'd be interested in compounds that can be used for solar energy. Solid state chemistry or anything with a link to crystallography would be a big plus.

Hello! I'm currently writing a policy memo for a college course, and I can't find any information on specifically what power plants exist in Guangdong Province of China, and what share of them are coal, gas, nuclear, wind, ect. The only real information is Wikipedia, but as for the specific plants (which they do name,) there isn't any definitive citation as to where that info is coming from. I just need "x% of Guangdong's energy comes from coal, x% comes from hydroelectric power," ect. Anything at all. All I can find are dead chinese links and the occasional statistic in a western news source.

I'm lost as hell and I need some help. I'm not one for reaching out to subs because of some petty issues, but this is something I really, really need help with. Sorry for the trouble, but I really need this!
