He had a frog in his throat.

So I said no, I'd rather go private.
I was at a new cardiologist today. I was seeing another cardiologist in October (had covid in March 2020), but she couldn't figure out where my heart issues where coming from and just gave me medication. She said that covid is new and there is not a lot known about follow-up disease and long covid and that she is at the end of her know how. But now the medication is not enough anymore and my heart issues got a bit worse. So I had to see a cardiologist anyway to get a new medication/ stronger medication to slow my pulse down and thought I would see another cardiologist, to see if maybe he can figure out what is wrong. But oh no.... how wrong I was... he didn't even try...
He just said that he wants to get rid of the "long covid" label and that my heart problems only come from not enough fitness, even though I was Ballroom & Latin dancing for hours at a time just fine before covid hit me 14 months ago and now I can't even go up a floor of stairs without a racing heart and troubles breathing.
He wants me to do 1 to 1 1/2 hour of cardio training every day and that should fix everything magically. Except that I do muscle/fitness training every day for 15 days now (for 45-60 sweat filled minutes daily in hope of getting my long covid better) and it made nothing better (still carrying on and hoping though).
I don't know how he thinks that one and a half hour extra with my daily fitness, so over two hours to two and a half hours together, will fix me and that I have time for it in my daily life.
He didn't even talk with me about changing my medication, either I do the extra cardio training and it just fixes my heart from day one on (that's not how cardio works), but then he should have told me to stop taking the heart medication because it would slow my magically fixed heartrate down too much. Or he should have given me medication or talked about how the process with the extra training would happen and how much medication I need to take in the mean time and when to stop.
I really want to try everything I can to fix my long covid issues. And I will try what he told me, because I don't want to be the person thinking she knows more than a doctor. But it just hurt so much that a doctor is not listening to you telling them the problems weren't there before covid and to hear a doctor telling you that it's all in your head and you just don't do enough fitness. He didn't even listen properly to all the symptoms I have.
I have another appointment for a stresse

** I do not share the same medical views as my mother, to clarify.
I no longer live with my parents. I have been living in a different country from them for about 4 years now. But about my mom:
My mother is around 62 years old. She was a professional ballerina in her heyday and always prided herself on being really skinny and fit. Mostly the skinny part, though. And I make a point of this because I think it gives us a lot of context to her problems now, or at least what maybe led up to them. (For additional context on what my mom sees as a healthy/unhealthy weight: Whenever I would watch the gymnasts on television for the Olympics, my mom would comment on almost every single gymnast, "She's fat. She's too fat to be a gymnast." These are Olympic athletes that she would say this about, who I would certainly never deem fat in the slightest. Nor would most people, I assume.)
As far as I know, throughout her young adult life she would go for routine doctors appointments as necessary (i.e. yearly check-up, or go to their offices if she had cold symptoms, etc.) but then she had a bad car accident when she was around 40 years old, maybe slightly older.
After that car accident, my mom was given pain meds. She says she is allergic to them and that they left her feeling worse than before the accident. (I have no way of knowing in truth if she is actually allergic to any medication or not. I was a really young kid when this happened and didn't even understand the severity of the situation. I had no idea that she had ever gone to the hospital at that time. My parents dismissed the accident as being minor).
Since that accident, my mom has been in what she describes as "chronic pain" mostly in her back. She tried to go to doctors for a little bit, but she didn't like any of them because they kept prescribing her medication that she insisted she was allergic to.
My mom started to eat less and less food as the years went on. Each time claiming she was allergic to it or at least had a severe intolerance. Before her car accident, she would eat anything (not too much, not too little as far as I know. Just a variety). But then she became vegetarian, and then stopped eating gluten, and then stopped consuming dairy and eggs, and then stopped eating grains, and then stopped consuming beans/legumes/nuts, and then stopped eating anything that wasn't organic, and then stopped consuming soy, and then said

With each round and battle, you will vote as to which Stands would prevail in a battle against one another under certain conditions. These conditions are:
Location: Arcade in Florida, near the beach
Time: 7 pm
Weather: Chilly, Cloudy, Full Moon out
Population: 40-45 people in arcade, 25~ on beach
Awareness: Aware of user, not stand and ability
Each user has a chance to make one post explaining how they will win, only speaking on their perspective in the fight. They may only use the information present in their made Stands, and nothing more. Editing stands during the battle is not allowed and being caught will get you disqualified.
They may not debate the topic among each other, whether here or somewhere else. Advertising for oneself to win anywhere is also not allowed.
The readers may ask users questions about the battle and their Stands, to which they may reply, but still must answer in their perspective only. It is advised to ask them some deep and difficult questions about the stand, ability or the conditions and how they manage in them.
Note that whatever is said each round must be consistent to the one before and after. A mod will correct the user should they fail to do so.
If there are any serious questions or concerns about the rules and tournament itself as it's going, message a mod personally and not through comments.
The winner of the round will move on to the next until eventually one is left standing, crowned the winner! Best of luck to everyone!
