A list of puns related to "Siege Of Orléans"
Why didn't Constantinople have cannons/gunpowder during the Fall of Constantinople? There are references to western Europe having cannons as early as the Siege of Orléans in 1429.

From what I've gathered, by the time he was ready to get married, the Orleans had long been deposed. I read that by marrying a French princess, Nicholas would only make the Franco-Russian alliance stronger, but wouldn't that only make it harder to reason with the French Republic, it being a republic and all? Besides, why even marry someone from a deposed royal family - wouldn't that be considered unworthy of a monarch?
