A list of puns related to "Saros"
After that loss, who do you think will be in net? Saros got pulled for letting in 5 goals but Rinne didnβt play much better... Iβm wondering what you guys think
Hard carrying preds to playoffs
The one area our favorite young Pred has yet to prove himself is in the postseason. Arizona bounced us in the play-in last year because their goalies beat ours. Juice only had a .896 save percentage in those 4 games. As you can see below, success in the playoffs for this team is almost solely dependent on goaltending.
Goals Saved Above Expected in the playoffs the last few years:
Saros 19-20: -3.6 GSAx in 4 games
Rinne 18-19: 0.1 GSAx in 6 games
Rinne 17-18: -5.8 GSAx in 13 games
Rinne 16-17: 10.9 GSAx in 22 games
Rinne 15-16: -2.4 GSAx in 14 games
A lot riding on Saros because it could have a huge impact on his next contract.
He's obviously lighting the world on fire right now. He has started 8 of the last 10 games for the Preds and has 6 Ws, 2 SOs, 268 SVs and only 9 GAs in that span (0.968 SV%, 1.13 GAA). Where do you rank him among goalies ROS? What would it take in a trade to pry him away?
If anyone has been able to watch Preds games and has some insight into his actual play, would love to hear your take on his legitimacy as an ascending/borderline elite goalie.
He was a 98 after his shutout win on Saturday vs Dallas and since has won in overtime vs cbj on Monday. I'm just wondering when does he get his 99? I thought it was one overall per win or was it something else?
Also at 99 will he get 3 syns or any sort of upgrade? (Not that I need it since I have all syns activated already, jw)
Edit: This in regards to his fantasy card
Also just wanted to show a bit of appreciation for the recent sets in hut that allow us to slow build cards and not be so purely rushed into grinding asap. These slow play or indefinite sets (k'andre, tots, moments, etc) have helped the game feel a lot more fun for me and makes team building a lot more fun and something I look forward to doing till NHL 22 comes out. Also really looking forward to NHL 22 on new consoles to see how it's improved or changed, especially with the extra layover time. It's been a rough grind at times for all of us this season (my first in hut) but I think things are coming along to make the game and game mode much better.
So thank you EA for continuing to develop and implement new ideas into the game. 2nd half of 21's year will be more fun than the first half was, at least for me.
Wondering peopleβs thoughts on Saros vs Rinne for the starting role in Nashville, especially given last nights SO performance. Whatβre we thinking here friends?
