A list of puns related to "Roadrunner"
Look
We all know the marketing for roadrunner wasnβt βin - your - faceβ as it couldβve been. It had some really good guest stars like A$AP Rocky and A$AP Ferg, and so on.
However
The point of the album wasnβt suppose to be a grandeur as you guys mightβve hoped it been. All the guys were going through a rough time during Covid
As everyone else in the world
HOWEVER! if you didnβt listen to the album, it was mainly about Joba, and how he was getting over the fact about his dad committing suicide. But, if you completely disregarded that fact and continue to be like βwELl thEy cOuLdβvE mArkEtEd it bEtTer β YOU COMPLETELY MISS THE POINT!
This album was completely artistic, a way for the boys to get back into their groove (which they did AMAZINGLY I listen to this album everyday, it goes hard) but also to be there for Joba, who was going through an extremely rough time.
Try to be more empathetic, and yea I do see Kevin tweet along with the other boys about how they want you guys, their fans, to listen to their second to last album together. However, while they might promote it, itβs not as elaborate and big because of the topics within the album.
Though while there might be fillers in the album like βILL TAKE YOU ONβ and βBANKROLLβ or even βCOUNT ON MEβ the main premise of the album is mainly about Joba.
Also, if you wanted it to be saturation, go listen to that album. Just support these boys before they release their last album.
Edit: WOW! This got a LOT of engagement, seems like the elephant in the room. Iβm seeing a lot of βwhy make an album that deals with such a serious topic, market it, and get people to listen to it?β Itβs a creative process, itβs like asking ANY artist βwhy did you make it when it deals with suicide, murder, break ups, etcβ. To show that maybe another person whoβs going through a similar situation that they arenβt alone, to raise awareness, to process what theyβve been through by doing the only thing they know, which is music. There are MANY MANY people who have done this with art, music, etc. not every song needs to be a hype song or about happiness. There are songs about drugs, killing, etc.
however, itβs just for creativity and to have an outlet, look, if you were in a position to be where they are and youβre like βwell I wouldnβt have made my album about my dad β then good for you. Youβre not them, and theyβre not you. Everyone process grief differently, and if you donβt like the way they process it , just donβt liste

I just finished watching the doc and it was most excellent. They spoke to nearly everyone. They covered all of the topics (and more). They got into some gossip. They covered his death with insight, anger, guesses, reverence, and deep sadness.
Iβm so glad that they spoke about his addiction and how he still used. It was a topic I havenβt heard in media. They spoke about my favorite episode: Congo.
I miss his πΆ filled Instagram stories.
His insight, enthusiasm and words are always a click of the remote away.

Tracklist:
This tracklist has me PUMPED. What do you guys think?
i love(d?) roadrunner when it released, but i realized today i hadnβt even thought about it in like a month. meanwhile iridescence and ginger (and of course sat trilogy) all still remain constant listens for me. obviously this is all subjective and different for everyone, just wondering if anyone else sort of forgot about roadrunner
Prob gonna get down voted but oh well. Solid record but the roll out was just so mind bogglingly half assed, it felt like they all cared for about a week before going back to basically radio silence. A couple interviews, a handful of posts, 2 videos n that one live performance. After that, back to nothing. It seemed like they were on the right course with the Buzzcut video, everyone seemed hyped af. Then they just kinda released Count on Me w no fanfare n didn't do too much until the album actually dropped. One of the most fun things about bh has always been seeing em all together, n with this album we barely got that. Ig it makes sense, given how each song only has like a member or two. But they at least could've played off that individualism. They could've at least made more than one meet the roadrunners video.
I feel a good roll out should build up interest and then sustain it well past the release date. It's only been like a month since the record dropped but it feels like a whole lifetime ago. Look at Ginger n Iridescence. It felt like they all cared about it. Here it just feels like they just did it cause they had to n then carried back on w their lives. Obviously the lack of touring is a factor, but still. Other artists have at least remained active on social media, or kept their fans consistently interested. When it's only Kevin posting, tho, it really just feels like no one gives af anymore. Idk, my interest in ems been waning since 2019 ish and this was just like the final nail in the coffin, if they don't care why should I?
Anyone know where I can find a list of screenings? I saw some people here sharing a link of locations but it didnβt appear to be active anymore.
Thanks! Looking forward to seeing the film here in Washington ;)
Been about a day, what do you guys think of BROCKHAMPTON's new project?
I'm very biased towards the first half of the project from BUZZCUT -> WINDOWS, but that's also more due to the style of music that I like (COUNT ON ME was nice, but not my fav for the same reason). Also liked WHEN I BALL. The starting(?) verse on THE LIGHT was amazing, and got to point out that the first two songs overall were absolute nuts.
