A list of puns related to "Pyrokinesis"
To start, the only limits to the system is your imagination to what you can do with fire. Everybody has the ability to do magic but few have the patience for it as it takes a while to learn. This why itβs taught to others and not usually self-taught. You basically have to make new spells each time, your only using the spells you made yourself, and cannot use other peopleβs spells. This only applies to people you know. There are something called glyphs which you use to make such spells happen. Everyone starts off with the βflickeringβ glyph and moves in from there, creating new ones as they go to create a desired effect. Somebody can counteract your spell by messing up the glyph order of the spell. (Havenβt decided on that so WIP for now). The only spells I have right now are fire bombs that can blind people with twisted version of their memories, and a flame that can become super cold.
Please ask questions to me if you donβt understand because there may be things I have missed in this explanation. Also criticism is allowed! Iβd also like a new word for the magic, as Pyro wonβt work in my world.
The heat from meditation used to be in my hands but now itβs building up in my third eye when meditating, does anyone know if this is bad?
So, this is exactly as it says on the tin: at what level would Lung's Pyrokinesis start at? Is it at the level of just a flamethrower? Or does he begin at the level of an average Avatar/LOK Firebender and scale up from there?
In early Worm, we see him do some basic Pyrokinesis fighting Taylor, but it's nowhere near the level we see him fight at in Ward. In Ward, he dominates the battlefield with insane levels of control over fire, literally able to set and keep the air on fire (And this was after only a few minutes of combat, well before he approached the bulked up form he fought Kaiser in).
At the upper end of the scale, we know after about 30 minutes he approached Endbringer levels of power, able to match Leviathan comfortably, and instantly disintegrate the outer layers of the Endbringer with his heat alone.
I only ask because I've been playing around with the idea of a Worm/Avatar crossover fic involving Lung. I think the lowest end of his power matches up quite nicely as being at the level of a "standard" Firebender, but I wanted some outside opinions.
In addition, mechanically, would Lung be capable of propelling himself using his flames? The idea is too cool to pass up. There are some other firebending techniques he should probably be capable of, but, Lung doesn't seem like a skilled martial artist type.
The ability to control fire -- pyrokinesis -- sounds pretty decent on the surface. But apart from camping, is it really that awesome to be able to light fires everywhere? Not to mention itβs inherently dangerous. If any of you are familiar with my colleague the TK Guru you know he wears a mask because he burned his face badly in a Pyrokinesis practice that went wrong indoors. So fellas and ladies please think first before you try this. Not to mention being dangerous itβs also one of the most complicated abilities that takes years to master. If however you have a firm grasp on telekinesis, aerokinesis, and hydrokinesis then I suppose you understand the Dedication and focus it takes and you will use this with respect and be safe!
Close your eyes and try to visualize the flame and sense its energy. After you open your eyes, you can try to bring this visualization to life and attempt to move it. After this first step is achieved you can try putting out flame with your brain, then reignite it.
Another method I have seen work is looking at a candle (outside) memorizing every aspect of the flame the hottest spots, the coolest spots, the colors, the emotions Inside it, the emotions it brings within you, the shape etc.. then close your eyes and see if you can re-create the flame exactly as it was in your mind.
Then blow the flame out and bring it back exactly as you did with your eyes closed but keep your eyes open and focus on the candle and Bring all the feelings back that It elicited within you, breathe in 100% then exhale 50% and see if you can light it.
[Type: Psychic]
[Category: Special]
[PP: 15 (24 Max)]
[Power: 60]
[Accuracy: 100%]
[Target: Single]
[Effect: This move is treated as a Fire-type attack by the target. 30% chance to burn the target. Thaws the target if frozen.]
βThis move is treated as a Fire-type attack by the targetβ means that the user benefits from Psychic-type STAB and Psychic Terrain, but effectiveness and abilities like Flash Fire are determined as if it was Fire-type.
This move gives Psychic-types a strong option to hit Dark, Bug, and Steel targets super-effectively while simultaneously spreading burn. Who appreciates this move the most and what changes would be needed to make it balanced?
Okay all the pyromaniacs among you Jumpers I am on the lookout for any and all Perks which allow you to manipulate fire of some sort.
be it Hell Fire, normal fire, phoenix force fire, abilities or items that boost any innate pyrokinesis or conceptual stuff. if it can burn Id like to know.
For example, imagine you are a superhero with pyrokinesis and you have to stop two regular criminals that are holdig up a liquor store. How do you do it without killing or seriously maiming them?
Edit: Making a list of the interesting answers.
-Intimidation
-Making a barrier of fire around them and wait for the cops.
-Melting their guns.
-Using up the oxigen so they black out.
-ROCKET PUNCH!
-Short heat blasts Iron Man style.
-Heat flashbangs.
Fury - 3RR
Creature - Elemental Incarnation
Double Strike
When ~ enters the battlefield, deals 4 damage divided as you choose among any number of target creatures and/or planeswalkers.
Evoke - exile a red card from your hand.
3/3
Sorcery speed but hits walkers and can come in as 5 mana 3/3 doublestrike.
Garnet is a fusion between Ruby, a pyrokinetic, and Sapphire, a cryokinetic, so why doesnβt she have either ability?
From a writing perspective, I get it. Garnet would be so overpowered if she had cryokinesis and/or pyrokinesis. Sheβd be able to play in the Himalayas for hours. But it doesnβt make sense to me why Garnet doesnβt have either ability, especially since she has Sapphireβs precognition.
What makes the most sense for Pyrokinesis?
The power profiles has this: Pyrokinesis: Perception Range Shapeable Area Fire Damage, Limited to Existing Fire β’ 30 cubic feet (volume rank 5) β’ 3 points per rank (+1 point per rank for +1 volume rank).
But after looking on Echoes of the Multiverse, it looks like most people use Move Object (Limited to Fire).
Hereβs what Iβm going for: The ability to move fire (both ambient and created) The ability to place the fire in an area as an area attack Ability to βholdβ the fire in my palm or in the air (for light, warmth, or later use)
Edit: Additional Question: If I have just the Move Object (Limited to Fire) power and I move fire from a burning building and place it on an area with people, because I am not using a Damage effect does it not do damage?
Is there a difference between pyromancy and pyrokinesis in DCverse? Do they both mean 'fire manipulation'?
Hi! I am asking for recommendations with fics where izuku has fire, wind or some other quirk, but preferably pyrokinesis. The requirements are that the fanfics are not some unreasonable bullshit. With crappy tropes.
Like izuku having villain dad and, because of that he isn't using his quirk, because that is just BS and I am wondering myself why people do that? Just why? That serves no purpose, the point quirk!izuku fics are that we get co confidant and self assured izuku. And that invalidates it. And why would izuku not use his quirk??? We see how he wants to be a hero no matter what, but he doesn't want to use his quirk?? That is just making his goal shallow and fake.
On top of that I would like a fanfic where izuku isn't some masochistic and delusional and hypocrite. Like how in the manga he is implying that it isn't necessary to have a quirk to be a hero, but let's himself be bullied and beaten by Bakugo, because he has "great quirk" and will be a great hero?? Like that is just hypocritical.
On top of that please if possible don't recommend me fanfics where Aizawa is some saint and great teacher, because to me he is a hypocrite, examples:
(1) In the quirk test he says to izuku that those who don't give their all will be expelt, but doesn't say shit to Todoroki who is half-assing everything.
(2) He say that those who cannot control their temper don't deserve to be called heroes, he constantly let's Bakugo get away with everything he does?
(3) He is constantly "logical", but nothing he does is exactly logical, example Bakugo If Aizawa was logical he should have sent Katsuki to therapist.
And please just if possible don't send me fics that bash Bakugo and make Izuku look like some martyr.Like some people just hate on Bakugo for no reason, like I get it he is a bully and all that and I hate him myself, but If you look at things Izuku has been constantly involving himself with Katsuki so just blaming and hating Bakugo is pure BS. And please just don't send me fics where Izuku has quirk that is "useless" and needs to train his body and quirk for OfA.
That is BS we are talking about the guy that literally wrote books about quirk and you are telling me that he doesn't train and analyze his own quirk??? I call bullshit.
Finally don't send Yaoi, because I am uncomfortable with them, I have nothing against Gay people, but it's just uncomfortable to read them.
And don't send fem!izuku fics.
And the last things I want to say is if preferably give me
