Elizabeth “Liz” Sherman is a pyrokinetic agent of the Bureau of Paranormal Research and Defense. After spending time in a mental hospital in an attempt to better control her powers, Liz rejoins the Bureau to fight alongside her love interest, the demon known as Hellboy.
Pyrokinesis
- Melts a crown in her hands
- Fills part of a building with fire, killing a swarm of fairies and sending Hellboy flying out a window
- It took her several seconds of concentration before she could do this.
- Inadvertently releases her powers as a child, creating an expanding dome of fire
- Fills her hospital with fire, making part of the roof collapse
- Blows off a reinforced metal door
- Engulfs herself in fire and makes the water she steps in boil
- Incinerates Sammaels along with all their eggs in the room, though this seems to make her pass out
Durability
- She and her clothing are immune to her own flames
- The fact that she is not burned by an object she’s melting in her hand implies that she is immune to heat in general.

Weaknesses
- In the first movie, she has trouble using her powers unless she is distressed, and has to resort to making people hit her. In the sequel, she has more control over her abilities and can use them at will.

Round 1: Fight to the death. They are willing to kill, but otherwise in-character.
- For the purposes of this fight, Liz is only immune to her own fire, not Roy's.
- No firearms.
Round 2: They are placed in separate, infinitely large forests. Who can destroy the most trees in an hour?
Round 1- Liz as she was in Seed of Destruction fights Zuko as he was by the end of season one
Round 2- Liz is as she was during Plague of Frogs and Zuko is as he was by the end of the series

Edit: After some consideration, I have decided to expand this match ups featuring comic characters that aren't from DC or Marvel being paired against characters from other mediums. You can use any character, comics or otherwise, in your proposed match up as along as they are not from DC or Marvel.

I confess that I don't really like matchups where characters use the same elemental power (although Miles vs Static is one of my favorites). So I thought I'd propose some matchups of opposing elements (fire/magma/lava vs water/ice, light vs darkness, earth vs wind, plants vs metal etc) as well as see what suggestions some others would
I do understand it might be difficult to do such matchups while making sure the characters have enough in common so don't feel too bad if your matchups don't have much of a connection either. To make it easier, you can try sticking to the medium your matchups are from (comics, tv, video games).
My ideas:

- Fire vs water.
- Both are comic books characters not from the Big 2.
Esdeath (Akame ga Kill) vs Sakazuki (One Piece)
- Magma vs ice.
- Both wear white.
- Both work for brutal governments.
Wind Dancer (X-Men) vs Atlee/Terra (Power Girl)
- Wind vs earth.
- Both are from the Big 2.

For context I'm a Refuse Driver (Garbage man) & today I was on food waste. After I'd tipped I was checking the wagon for any defects when I spotted a lone pea balanced on the lifts.

... keep reading on reddit ➡Comic book characters and games have been hit and miss, but I would argue that despite a few missteps (Marvel's Avengers), I would say that in general they've gotten to be quite good recently. With Batman, Spider-Man and the new Guardians of the Galaxy game by Square Enix, who else should make the jump from the panel to the controller? Here's some ideas I think would be cool.

Hellboy- I'm kinda taking some ideas from James Wilson and his article "10 "Comic Book Characters That Need Their Own Video Game" on Whatculture, but the idea of a triple A Hellboy game is too cool to pass up. Like Wilson said in his article, the game could be a mix of detective game and action-RPG, but could also include a mechanic where you can switch between Hellboy, Abe Sapien and Liz Sherman and use their unique abilities to solve various puzzles. Plus, like Wilson said, I think the cast members from the original Hellboy movies Ron Perlman, Doug Jones and Selma Blair would be happy to play their characters again!

Black Canary & Green Arrow- Why should Batman be the only DC superhero who gets to clean up their city? Imagine a game where you can play as both Black Canary and Green Arrow as they get to fight crime in Star City. The game could play like an Arkham game but have each titular hero play differently (Black Canary fights up close and loud, Green Arrow fights stealthily from afar) and the story could focus on both their desires to help out the little guy while also giving time to develop their relationship. Throw in villains like Deathstroke, Merlyn or even Black Mask and a co-op option and I think this game could be really cool!

Wonder Woman- I don't have much for this one other than saying that the most iconic female comic book character needs her own game. I think a hack and slash would be the way to go but one that also features platforming and puzzles. You could even have the focus of the game being about Diana having to live in two different worlds, taking place in both Themascyria and say a city like Metropolis. Hell Supes and Bats could even make an appearance.
