A list of puns related to "Prickly Pear Cactus"
Hey there I just wanted to ask for some advice, I hope yβall donβt mind. I have recently been trying to propagate a prickly pear cactus and Iβm on my third attempt. I do everything YouTube tells me to. I have gotten the pups stuck them in a pot with cactus soil and kept them In a sunny area and even outside but the cactus falls over because no roots grow. I have no idea how to ge the plant to root and itβs so beautiful I wish it would you know? Does anyone have any advice for me ?
Yesterday, I received some prickly pear cactus pads (from a mature plant). The pads fell off the main plant, because some high winds knocked a few off about a month ago. They have been calluses and ready to pot. But I donβt have cacti soil, and the soil I ordered will most likely be here in about a week.
Iβm wondering if these pads will last for another week? I have regular potting soil, but itβs a bit wet right now, so I donβt think I should use it in case of rot? What do you guys recommend? Should I just pick up any commercial cactus soil mix? I generally donβt like to use them, since they usually come with pests, thanks in advanced!
I know they can have the actual cactus (spines removed of course) but what about the flower?
I've contacted several companies (with varying levels of positive/negative reviews) and am getting wildly different quotes.
Edit: they are in pretty shitty condition so I don't think there's much of a market for it.
