A list of puns related to "Philo"
been tossing discs at baskets about 7 months now. my home course is oak grove in los angeles, la canada for those who know (and if you don't know now ya know...). i was playing with a fellow named "sue" and he pointed over and said, hay look, there's philo giving a lesson. i looked and felt a pang of jealousy. funk man, i want a lesson with philo. about a week later, i was finishing up my round with a different fellow named "nobody" and saw philo next to a van chillin. now this ain't something i normally do, but i walked right up to philo and said "hey philo, i saw you giving a lesson last week, how would i get in on something like that?" he asked if i was on any social media, i said naw (i'm on insta, funk it) he gave me his number, we texted a time, and on a monday at 9 am we meet up. it was so chilly we both had on long sleeve shirts. 1 on 1 was $125 for 90 minutes
i get there 5 minutes early. we start right away. he asks what i want to work on. i said i can't figure out a flick to save my life, so i'd love a hand with that. he's like, cool, but lets start with putting. he then pulls out a phone tripod and puts my phone in it and records the entire session for me. we spend about a half hour putting. he works a lot on fixing my poor physical stance (i am an old wrestler) he basically helped me stand up straight and start banging chains. his approach is very structrued and visual, structured like, he gave me his 5 points of putting, which helps me out a ton. 1- make a good line to the target 2- have good balance 3- make up your mind on what kind of throw 4- apex 5- rhythm, and visual by getting orange sticks out and setting up visual lines, almost like a road, right up to the basket, and a big part of the lesson was also rhythm, feeling it, not thinking, but like throwing to a friend
then we spent an hour working on the flick, the sidearm, whatever the funk y'all call it. i'd created some stank habits from years of ultimate. some of the things he was showing me, like my hips sabotaging my entire throw, didn't really sink in until i watched the video after and i was like hot damn.
that's 90 minutes. he said, hold up, i want to show you a few more things, and we spent another 30-40 minutes working on the fundamentals of backhand throwing. on all of these, he was using the orange sticks to make visual the lines
the entire session was legit af. and it's changed my game for the better. i'm not a scratch thrower yet, but i've gone down from +14 to about +

My name is Donald Soles, and I'm a Ph.D. student in the philosophy department. In Spring of 2022, I will be a teaching assistant in Eden Lin's 'Engineering Ethics' class, and there's a possibility that in the summer of 2022, I will be teaching the class myself (if enough people enroll). Since you probably don't know anything about me, and since many people check this reddit for information about newer instructors, I thought I'd just take some time to tell you about myself so I'm not just a name on Buckeyelink. (I am really hoping that Buckeyelink won't display my middle name, which is Elwood. Oops, I just told you what it was.)
First, I have a law degree from Regent University, and I passed the bar in Virginia when I was 23. Personally, I found legal studies to be uninteresting, so I was fortunate enough to study philosophy at Texas Tech, where I earned an MA in philosophy. I came to Ohio State in 2019, and now I'm mainly interested in epistemology (particularly norms governing inquiry). I've enjoyed my time at Ohio State a lot, and I have greatly benefitted from working with my advisor.
I have a lot of hobbies. For example, I have been learning Russian for a couple of years now. I'm at a point where I still have a hard time reacting in real-time to conversation, but I find that I can read about 80% of the posts I find on the internet. Hopefully, I'll continue to improve with practice. Second, I really enjoy tasting and brewing pourover coffee. Some of my favorite roasters are Red Rooster, Brandywine, Coava, Black & White, and Onyx. My favorite brewing-method is the Hario v60. I also enjoy collecting allocated bourbons (particularly at retail prices). A couple of bottles that I'm hunting right now include EH Taylor Barrel Proof and Stagg Jr. I also really enjoy using credit cards to generate 'free' (or inexpensive) travel. Right now, I am really enjoying my Southwest Business Performance card from Chase. I have a planted aquarium that is a great source of joy/pain. I diffuse CO2 into my aquarium to help the plants grow more quickly. I'll attach a picture of that. Some of my favorite aquarium plants are Staurogyne Repens, Bronze Crypt Wendtii, and Rotala Indica. I enjoy plenty of other things too, such as playing guitar, listening to metal, running (when it's not cold), and investing. Some people tell me that I have too many hobbies, but I find that having a lot of hobbies helps me somehow connect with people more easily, so maybe it's

But where was it originally located?
I know some people have postulated Dragonspine but I feel like the area where it must have been surely must now be some giant crater or something and Dragonspine's ancient ruins surely would have been severely disrupted if it had originally been part of Philos Peak and then got partially blown off into the sea
I kinda think it might be (at least partially) Stormterror's Lair; it's a huge crater and it has that strange and large hole in the ground where all these winds come out from....it kinda connects, in a way, to the Spiral Abyss
G4TV has made it's much awaited return. Life is back to normal as Ninja Warrior reruns kick it off. In all seriousness, the original programming should start around 6pm EST. Man this channel played a big role in me being a nerd :)
So weβre gonna be having a philo event w our sister sorority where we split all the money made 50/50 with them. Anyone ever done a philo event like this that worked well? Weβre trying to figure out what would be fun for all of us to do
I still haven't heard back from Oxford (applied to CS + Philo), and seeing everyone talk about rejections and interviews is making me nervous that my application somehow got lost or something
They often say that people get either interview offers or shortlist at least a week in advance; and today marks 1 week before the interview dates for CS + Philo
anyone else in the same boat?
if i dont get something by tomorrow I'm going to ring in and see whats up
Edit: resolved, we got an interview boys π₯³π₯³
Couldn't find it in the list of partner apps, unless it falls under T-Vision. Seems like it should be included, considering we were all pushed to it from T-Vision!

When I watch live tv and my DVR. Customer support has not helped.
Hi,
Regarding yt-dlp:
When I try pasting a link like https://www.philo.com/player/player/vod/Vk9EOjYwODU0ODg5OTY0ODYzNDc3MQ into yt-dlp on command line, it says it's defaulting to the generic information extractor and then says eventually that the URL is unsupported. When running yt-dlp --ap-list-mso, it shows Philo in the list of supported TV Providers, so I feel certain I'm not using an old version that doesn't support Philo extraction. Am I doing something wrong?
Thank you!
You having technical difficulties? Philo is not working right now for me.
