I love my Trek Marlin 5 and use it on beginner/intermediate MTB trails, but I also commute and do long (non-trail) rides with it. Thoughts or opinions?

I've been eyeing moloko and jones bars for awhile now. Thinking about making the jump. Currently running stock parts from 2014. Shifter is getting squirrelly so now may be a good time to switch. Anyone love/hate making the jump that has done it? Recommend shifters? Got a 9 spd triple 50-39-30 in front and 9 spd 11-36 deore in back. Its close to time to replace those as well. Tips are appreciated.
