A list of puns related to "Mealy"
New pod is out and itβs exactly what I expected. After watching them flip the narrative and make people think this was about accounting instead of pride and ego, I wasnβt surprised to see them avoid smoke with Shultz, akademiks, drake, and any other big names that shitted on them.
As far as content goes itβs was only 1 hour. It felt cool to finally hear them talking but they didnβt really say much. Rory has always done a decent job of being honest with his criticism. But listening to mal just reminded me of how all he does is say how he appreciates and respects an artists work and then it ends right there. No hot takes ever.
Rory is the only reason Iβm giving them a chance but after the first pod it feels like the balls in their court and they barely doing shit with it.
My succulent collection was absolutely thriving until about two months ago when I got hit hard by pests. (Window was accidentally left open a crack for awhile and mealy bugs seemed to move in like woah.)
Some leaves have obvious signs of damage whereas for others the plant is seemingly healthy until all the leaves fall off unexpectedly when handling lightly. In the later case the area where the leaf connected with the stem was black and the stem seemed suspect when cut into even though the roots were perfectly healthy. Iβm trying to figure out is this just mealy bugs? A second type of pest as well? Some sort of fungus or viral situation?
Itβs heartbreaking to lose so many plants that were previously thriving especially since Iβve been hyper vigilant for the past month, month and a half inspecting plants (including roots), quarantining infected plants, spraying with insecticide soap, cleaning off mealy bugs with alcohol, etc. prior to discovering the mealy bugs I thought I was dealing with a fungal issue so I also used an anti-fungal spray on some of my collection.
I have this deep fear Iβll never be able to get to the point my plants are thriving again and itβs turned a joyful hobby into an anxious one.
Iβd love for people to weigh in on whether there is something else Iβm missing. (Succulents are in Bonsai Jack gritty mix and receive about 12 hours a day under spectra pro series grow lights)
Hi guys! Iβve got some nasty mealy bugs on a few of my succulents. Iβve been spraying alcohol but I donβt think I got them all. Whatβs the best way to apply diatomaceous earth to kill these nasty bugs?
Thank you!!
Been using isopropyl, but a few weeks later they come back.
Weather is nice so Im thinking about moving them outside and using something stronger.
Any advice?
A while ago (May 31st to be exact) a nursery had some large jade cuttings on the floor and I asked the person cleaning them up if I could take some. Then, I traveled with these and all of my other succulents in a giant container. The jade was in a smaller container with no lid (seems irrelevant but I promise it is). Everything else was unpacked, but the jade was left in my room because everything felt like such a task and I didnβt have the energy to propagate. Cut to now. I was about to put them in some soil when I noticed a small spot of white sticky residue. Obviously the thing was doused in rubbing alcohol, but I canβt tell when they arrived. When I first got the cutting, it wasnβt there. I donβt know how else it wouldβve gotten mealybugs though because it hadnβt been placed outside. Iβve also used the container it was in to measure out a soil/perlite mixture. I need to know how long it can take for the residue to form to see if my other plants are in danger (so far I donβt see anything). Sorry for the long-ish read!
Friends of Reddit β¦. Why are my Tomatoes mealy? They are red, beautiful Smell sweet and firm yet when you cut into one theyβre consistently mealy. I donβt believe we are overwatering. Any other ideas ?
