Just something I’m curious about! Obviously the answer will depend on the hairstyle you’re going for (i.e. long or short) and the area you live in, which can determine how much you pay and if you pay tip or not. Personally, I go to the barber once a month and pay ~$28 CAD (after 15% tip) to my hairstylist I’ve been going to for almost 2 years. One question that always bugs me when getting my haircut is whether or not I’m giving enough in tips (I’ve heard 15 - 20% is reasonable for a good cut, and I’m a student of that matters). I’d love to hear about your guys’ experiences!

I got engaged a few years ago and we finally decided to set a date. Thankfully it's still 2 years away so that gives us plenty of time to prepare everything.

One area in particular I'd really like to address is myself, from a physical perspective. I'm not someone who's ever been too worried about how I look. Not to say I'm not clean in any way, hygiene is not the issue here. My problem is mostly to do with style I guess. I get one haircut a year, never use product, usually have a messy beard, and choose clothes that are baggy and comfortable. What I want to know is, are there services out there that can basically make me look the best that I can look. Pick the hairstyle that suits my face, the beard style, well fitting clothes (I assume tailor for my suit will sort this). I've been to upmarket men's barbers before and came away feeling like I just ended up with the same haircut as everyone else in the place, as opposed to one that really fits how I look (I actually got comments from people about how silly I looked with it at the time). I have really thick, good hair so I know there's got to be something a professional can do with it.

I do enjoy not having to worry about my appearance and being a bit of a comfortable bum, but I also would really look to look well for my wife on our wedding day. It would be nice to have pictures where I'm not the least pulled together person at my own wedding.

Can anyone recommend what type of service I'd use for this type of thing?

Good evening fellow Irish Redditors, I come seeking assistance. I'm looking to do a bit of auld manscaping (proper job like 90% of pubic hair gone) Researching online and as researching online can be when you're unsure, it has fried my head. As the internet tells me its not simply about getting sensitive gel/foam alone and bob's your uncle. Is it recommended that you get transparent gel too? Then I see it's recommended that one does not use the same razor as one does normally for shaving face because of risk of possible infection. Then there's aftercare and moisturizer. Getting conflicting reviews from oddfellow and goodfellow

Amazon has the Philips Norelco BG7040/42 has the most positive reviews. Should I go ahead and pull the trigger on it?

This book was written from the perspective of a middle school girl who started receiving anonymous love letters in meticulous, ornate cursive lettering. She eventually realizes it is her teacher’s handwriting and the girl is flattered? I don’t remember if he actually assaulted her, but I believe he kissed her. I think the girl may have come to the conclusion he was mentally ill. This was definitely written before the cultural perspective shift on power imbalances in relationships, and completely glossed over the potential hebephilia, I believe? I read this book in the mid-90’s. I think about it every time a new scandal comes out about a teacher with a student and wonder if I missed a lot of the themes in the book being so young.

Which is the best company/Brand for Men's grooming products, hygiene products, skincare etc. (Facewash, body wash, skincare products, intimate wash, hairoil, beard oil? - idk......you get my point)

Also, please recommend which other products i should use....i just listed from the top of my head.

Some of the major names are Beardo, the man company, Bombay shaving company, Nykaa Man etc. Want to know your experience with the products of these brands. If there are some other brands you would recommend, please do mention. And if there are different brands which are the best for particular products, please do mention those too.
