For me, listening to the radio in the car is like turning on Christmas music at any time of the year. Like, I don't do Christmas, so for the entire month of December all I hear is Christmas music and as the month wears on it goes from neutral to annoying having to listen to the same subject I don't even care much for over and over, especially since there's so much hype around it.
Then I realized mainstream music is pretty much the same to me? I turn on the radio and just get bombarded with sex and romance, except that it happens all year. That's why I always play my own music on my phone. Is anybody else like that or can you just enjoy the music anyway?

Almost all of the songs have the same vibe. They get extremely stuck in my head (which is their intention ofcourse, but the songs from these days are never fun in any way to have stuck in my head and are literally making me crazy.) They're just not good on their own in terms of quality, uniqueness and they're just outright annoying. It feels like there are barely any songs that get played on the radio, just constantly the same ones every single hour (which is true), every single day, for so many months now. I don't understand the people who listen to these songs outside of work and enjoy them. "As if you haven't heard those songs enough". I feel like these people (which are ofcourse an insane amount of people) got brainwashed or something.
Many people are definitely not gonna like this post, but there's gotta be a lot of people who think about this like i do.

I know he likes to stay out of the light and cultivate a loyal fan base, but overtime the lack of self marketing may lead to a decline because of lack of knowledge knowing he’s releasing.
I have searched but had no luck finding a song I heard multiple times back in maybe 2015 or 2016 and I think that is around when it came out. I can't recall the band or song for the life of me but I have some info that may help. The voice of the male singer almost sounded as if he was breathing in when singing or maybe an effect, it was really strange. A lyric in the song was "know your name" or "know my name". It was a darker sounding song and I don't think it was popular on typical radio. I heard it on sirius college radio and i also remember hearing carseat headrest drunk driver around that time on the same station. Hopefully that's enough info, thanks for reading!
Can’t turn mainstream radio on these days without hearing covers or samples of songs from not so long ago. Feel like this is the first stage of being ‘past my prime’.
Only one I know of that comes close is Cheryl Porter from youtube… but if one wanted to do rock id see them getting better results from someone who specifically sound good singing rock music like Chris Liepe. And for classical modern opera type singing maybe one of those sovt exercises teachers— i dont really know of any other than tyler wysong from youtube.
But they probably arent from here. Kinda am curious how a real coach would help in real life rather than trying to figure out everything myself. lol.

Everything turns muted like a trumpet mute or pillow over my mouth. Actually i cannot growl at a high pitch past F4— only lower like cookie monster lol. Open vowels are way easier for me going past F4 without going into falsetto
The thing thats been helping me get close these days is imagining keeping my voice front and center like not going above an imaginary roof. Ive been teaching myself for a few years. Keeping the sound floating between the floor and ceiling. Usually feels and sounds best— if it hits the ceiling a bit in my imagination, I feel more squeezing… the more squeezing especially on an open vowel like OH leads to distortion too— i guess this also correlates with larynx position — higher = more raised larynx and more smiley i look— if it goes down to the floor my larynx is lower and generally feels more yawny… looser and usually easier to sing higher with lesss energy
