every time i have to use " mademoiselle " i feel like it's too long. so i immediately replace it with madame. i don't know if French women would be offended if i do that.
so can i use madame instead of "mademoiselle" or is there a shorter version of "mademoiselle"?. OR do i just need to keep using it until it become less "long"?
I've decided to treat myself and get some nice perfume. I first tried Coco Chanel, but was so disappointed. It smelled like something my grandmothers would wear. (I'm 51) So I'm giving that to my mother for Mother's Day. I then ordered Coco Chanel Mademoiselle. I REALLY REALLY like it. But it is so strong. I only used one spray, shared it between my wrists and behind my ears. That was an hour ago and I can still smell it, almost have a headache.
So my question is, what can I do to make the scent lighter? This is just one spray. I really want to wear this, but if it's bothering me, it will surely bother people around me.
I’ve been on two lovely M&G’s in the last two weeks. This morning I went to take out my recycling & there was a small white Chanel bag with a matte black envelope underneath it. In the envelope was a gift receipt. No name, no note. I don’t know how long it was out there, but I imagine not long since it was still there?
I don’t know who dropped it off. Both POT’s know where I live (I know... but I go through more than two weeks of video chatting & whatnot before going on a first date/have four housemates so I’m not worried)
How do I go about finding out who sent it while playing it cool? I want to thank them ASAP and I’m running out of time! Was this a test?? Am I failing?
How bad would it be to text both of them “pretending” I don’t know who sent it? Like, playfully alluding to the “little bird” who thought of me ?

I don’t play nearly as much as I used to though and I’m pretty useless without a tab, chords, and/or a video of someone playing the song. I do appreciate the little luxury aspect of having a bedtime/night fragrance and it’s nice for those that don’t like a very strong fragrance but I feel like it’s just sort of a pointless addition. The notes are slightly different than the EDP but the perfume itself is expensive for having such a weak performance.
I tested a bottle of Coco Mademoiselle at a Chanel store and ADORED it. About a month later I decided to buy it and bought it from Sephora. The label was so crooked and it honestly looked like a knock-off!! I also don't think it smells the same? If anyone has had an experience like this I'm so curious. Does Sephora distribute a lesser quality version ? I'm quite upset because it was the same price and I bought the 3.4 oz :( I couldn't return it though because Sephora has a set return time and I was abroad.
