These lovely trees are the White Spruce, Lodgepole Pine, and Balsam Fir. They are sold as Christmas trees to be enjoyed by millions. They are also used as main breeds in SPF lumber, used to build almost all houses. Always remember that a house is a box made out of Christmas Tree wood.
Are these trees lodgepole pine? If so, what species, and would they do well in East Texas for landscaping?

Inquiring minds would like to know of any tips and tricks for managing lodgepole pine needles. I feel like I've just been raking them up all my life, all year round, even though they tend to shed the most around now through November.
When it comes to raking them up and cleaning gutters of them out, do ya'll have any good ideas for timing or efficiency? Do you wait until late October before cleaning up or do you go about it all the time, in futility, like I do?

There are only 2 counties it could be: Chaffee and Saguache. There are spots in both of these counties where the Tarryall Mountains are scantly visible from 10,200 or lower. Basically from Buena Vista down to the very north parts of Saguache County. 3-4 hour drive from Santa Fe. Believe what you will about the Pinyon comment, but I have always chosen to believe that was a clue he let slide past the goalie and took it back once he realized what he had done.

The foliage in this image is Lodgepole Pine and juvenile Sandberg Bluegrass. The chest was Located in Montana or Wyoming in an environment identical to the valley floors of the west Yellowstone area. ( when considering sage was smelt)

Can I transplant a 4-5 foot lodgepole pine in something other than burlap?
I don't have burlap and I am intending to dig a 4 or 5 foot Lodgepole pine from the forest (following all local forest ranger guidelines). How else can I transplant it about an hour away and keep the roots moist enough? (large plastic bag?)

Just moved to the East Kootenay valley near Radium Hot Springs, British Columbia and found this absolute unit. About 6" diameter under a very large lodgepole pine. Obviously new to the sub.
