After having watch a second time all episodes of the 3rd season, some thoughts:
First in fact, there's no rivalry at all, we see a lot of this narrative here, but it's all Carly's fantasy, she built bit by bit a house of cards and proceeded to wipe the relationship out all by herself. Worst, she did arm on the demolition just the moment Shaun was the most committed to her. But five episodes before, in her discussion with Morgan, she said she will have to work on her jealousy. Nice work, indeed.
Then in hindsight, there's more than a mirror effect but rather a role reversal between the two couples Shaun/Lea and Shaun/Carly.
Before expanding that, there is a point to be made: as a sometimes wise neurosurgeon said, "Sometimes you learn more about someone by what they do than what they say".
It was often stated and parroted that Lea was selfish, stated by herself too.
Now look what selfess/unselfish deed she has made between her first apparition and the end of season 3:
- hide Shaun and lie to Glassman when he was looking for him (season 1)
- let Shaun drive the Stripped Tomato, her prized and cherished car, to make him feel better and finally free (season 1)
- it is implied but call sick too and improvise a roadtrip on the fly for Shaun. (season 1)
- learn Shaun to drive and let him use the Striped Tomato several times to make him free. (season 2)
- when Shaun was quarantined, go, bring and support Glassman (who was at this moment meaner than ever) to his several medical appointments even after their first bad encounter. (season 2)
- convince Glassman to open up more to Shaun about his health and see Shaun as an adult to make booth feel better (season 2)
- be worry about the well-being of Shaun and ask him if Carly treat him well (season 2)
- etablish "Saturdays morning Pancakes" and "Fresh Start Pancakes" traditions to make Shaun feel better about change (season 2)
- care at Shaun's bedside and ask Glassman to intervene in his favor about Han's decision. (season 2)
- give advises about dating to Shaun to let him having a good experience with Carly (season 3)
- convice Shaun to keep on dating (season 3)
- celebrate with and be as happy as Shaun (maybe happier) at the annoucement of his first lead surgery (season 3)
- leave work in a busy period to support Shaun in Wyoming (season 3)
- try to find numerous times a way to distract Shaun from the gloom, the pain, the traumas and the guilt in Wyoming (season 3)
- save Shaun from himself when all the t

I would like to know your reactions to her scandal last year for being a diva. Were you surprised or not surprised? Did you hate her afterwards?
Yesterday I saw something saying Blake Jenner will come back with a new movie. He is the person who I hate the most in the entire world, and he just sits out a couple of years, and nothing happened. I don't think he will get support, and I have no idea if the movie will be good or popular, but just coming back is ridiculous.
Lea Michelle also did something bad, but not even close in magnitude, and I haven't heard anything about her in a long time. I personally don't hate her, but I can see why someone would. She is extremely talented, she has had a lot of time to mature, reflect, and change, so, why doesn't she get a chance? Is it her decision to not act anymore, or does no one want to work with her anymore?
I'm curious and I thought an anonymous poll was the best way to see how people really feel about her. I know on some other platforms she still has dedicated fans and I was wondering if she does on reddit as well. Buna! Stiu ca este o intrebare ciudata, dar ieri m-am incurcat si am scris Enigma Otiliei ca si nuvela, in loc de Moara cu noroc. Stiu ca este a greseala foarte proasta, insa ma intrebam, cam cate puncte as putea atunci primi la subiectul III? Am dezvoltat opera, ca si o nuvela, deci intr-un fel s-ar incadra in cerinta sau nu o sa fie luat in considerare de loc? O sa primesc macar puncte pentru redactare?
